Being mistaken for an android was just one part of Colton’s daily struggle. But if someone saw his pure-white arm, they automatically assumed he wasn’t human-- and he always got kicked around for it.
So when he ran into someone after one such occasion, he assumed it would happen again. His right sleeve had been ripped, exposing his arm, and his right eye was uncovered, showing what appeared to be his iris flickering yellow and spinning like an LED would. The only thing that could show he actually was human-- though most wouldn’t pay attention-- was that the cuts on his face were bleeding red, rather than blue.
Colton studied the man’s face, fear present in both eyes as he brought his arms up to protect himself.
