Guys, you can like a ship WITHOUT talking other ships you dislike down. The amount of times I saw a '*archon x fatui ship* is so much worse then Mavuitano' was very disheartening.

Especially since most of the time the reasoning was '*other ship* bad bc problematic'

If you look close enough you can turn every ship problematic, for example:

- there's an huge age gap between Mavuikas and Capitanos physical bodys

- they start out as enemies and both nearly killed each other

- Capitano even considering risking the culture of Natlan to achieve his goals at one point, a huge no go for Mavuika

- canon Mavuitano would make Mavuika attracted to the equivalent of a coma patient, which could bring it's own weird implications

- most fanon depictions of Capitano make Mavuika look like a necrophile

You better not use these reasons to talk down on Mavuitano, but if you ship these two but hate on Zhongchi for the agegap, on Venti x Signora for her kicking him in the balls once, on Arlefuri for Arlecchino attacking Furina that one time or even on Scarahida for the assumed age gap bc of their appearances (Nahida is older, thank you very much), I don't know what to tell you.
