Hi, fellow studyblrs--whether you’re in high school, college, grad school and post grad!
I’m Layla from the Philippines, a public servant in my mid-thirties, and currently in grad school, studying Diploma in Industrial Relations in the University of the Philippines. It’s my first year in graduate school, and I’m enjoying it so far! :)
When I am not in school, I obsess over period drama--current favourites are The Crown and Anne with an E. Forever favourites are Downton Abbey and Poldark. Other favourite things to do are baking, dabbling in lettering--mainly brush pen calligraphy, cooking, and volunteer work.
For volunteer work, i currently work with The Friday Book Club, a non-profit, fledgling organisation composed of five dynamic women. Part of our work includes organising book drives for young children who have no convenient access to books, reading, and learning.
As an avid listener of music, I listen to everything. Anything from Taylor Swift’s new music to the most classic of choral music (my currently most-repeated song is Gregorio Allegri’s Miserere) is my kinda jam.
Since this is a study tumblr blog, I will [shamelessly] plug my academic interests. And they international law, labour law, labour force, industrial relations, and human resource management.
