1. (Re)Introduce yourself

Hello!! I'm not sure if I ever actually introduced myself here. I'm Taylor! I'm 29, a clinical lab scientist by trade and a writer at heart. I write a lot of fanfic for various fandoms, OC universes, and I'm working on my third draft of a horror novel that's filled to the absolute brim with whump.

I've enjoyed whump since I was a really little kid. My first stories I wrote when I was a preteen were all whump/sickfic/hurt and comfort. they're all wildly embarrassing now but I've gotten better at writing hopefully since then!

i really like whumperless whump. sickfic, environmental, emotional, etc. i'm just here fir vibes, not torture. more about the comfort than the hurt, I think.

I love horror. Reading, writing, watching, listening. Incredible. I just want to feel something. other than that I keep Bob's Burgers on repeat.

Day 1 || Introduction

I introduced myself on this hellsite several times, so I'll just think about some facts I didn't tell you yet!

The known facts: I'm Sara, in my thirties. My timezone is CET, and English is not my native language (but I'd say that I'm doing rather well). I've been writing for as long as I can remember, and consider myself part of the whump community since 2019. I love writing female leads and the cooperation with other writers. Right now, many of my projects are in the shared dystopian BBU universe, but I also write in contemporary or in urban fantasy settings. My focus is always on characters, their dynamics, relationships and developments.

My blog is 18+, because I write for an adult audience and nsfw themes tend to be present in my work.

And now, as to the less known "about me" facts:

I've never published fan fiction, but I did daydream a lot about Star Wars OCs when I was a baby Sara. At my first internship during job training, I had a private Star Wars RP with a colleague, that was super whumpy and also super fun, I still think about the dynamics of that crew sometimes, even almost 20 years later.

I have been living in several different cultures, and try to incorporate that into my writing.

I'm bi, but strangely enough, not all of my characters are, even when I want them to be.

I am not a morning person, but I live in a country built for morning persons, which means I don't sleep nearly enough. The time differences among the whump community don't help.

My favorite animals are otters. My favorite vegetable is cauliflower, my favorite fruit is blackberry.

I love getting asks and prompts but am super slow answering them; my inbox is at 141 and I still crave more. I promise I think about all of them.

My favorite whumpy media is the Jessica Jones show.

Favorite shows overall are Andor, Umbrella Academy, Jessica Jones, The Morning Show and Firefly. Still I wouldn't say that science fiction is my favorite genre. It's weird.

Hi! I’m Olive (she/her) I’m a minor, and I live in the PNW. I’ve loved whump for quite a while- it keeps my dark soul busy, and I can’t talk to my school friends about it- so to tumblr we go:) 

I love torturing my very own OC’s, and my list of fav tropes will always include collars, lack of care takers, drugs, shy whumpees, famous whumpers, vulnerable whumpers and intimate whump in general.
