GIVE THIS WOMAN A BREAK.

So let’s recap since some people seem to forget what happened in acosf.

1- Nesta has a fight with Cassian because he doesn’t understand how much the word mate is scary for Nesta. She explains to him that this word means nothing to her and acknowledging this word, would mean losing ALL parts of her humanity. They fight and he says the DUMBEST THING ever, so Nesta ends up at her bestie’s house.

2- Nesta and her 2 besties are drugged and kidnapped to participate in the deadly hunger games that lasts a whole week. They didn’t ask any of it. 2 out of 3 are survivors of SA and 🍇, and now are stuck competing against men who either want to 🍇 them and/or killed them. They wake up being separated and thanks to Nesta’s magic bracelets aka magic GPS, they end up finding one another and survive this week on their own, using all the skills they’ve learned. But most of all, the one things these men don’t really use — their BRAINS. So Nesta sacrifices herself so her 2 besties can climb the mountain and win.

3- Nesta gets taken out of these deadly game by her mate who happens to be controlled by the wicked old crone who wants to murder Nesta because she wants to be forever young, since Botox doesn’t exist in Prythian. Then when Nesta thinks Cassian has just stabbed himself to death, she unleashes herself and makes the whole continent shake while destroying this old queen. ✨the most badass girl in town✨

4- Nesta and Cassian gets taken back to the Night Court because Feyre is basically dying because apparently you can heal broken wings (male only), you can heal someone even when their guts are basically laying on the ground, but the magic stops at C-section. So Nesta puts all of the trove items (nobody has ever done so) and she stops TIME ITSELF and beg the Cauldron to show her how to save her sister from dying. The Cauldron shows and in exchange of the powers she stole ( they make a bargain, but the Mother aka Nesta’s new bestie, makes sure she get to keep some of her powers but we don’t know how much really.) Nesta saves everyone and says for the 1st time of her life these 3 tiny words ✨I love you✨ not to her mate, not to her friends but to her youngest sister.

4- Nesta and Cassian walks out talk a bit about what happens and she acknowledges that he’s her mate and that she loves him (girl wake up, you deserves better than him) and they kiss. And now, since there’s a stupid custom for a female to feed the male in order to accept the mating bond, she gives him a cookie that was just there in the birthing room.
