Mini bulk haul / When I discovered that most waste in the US comes from food 😵 🍟🍞🍫it made me seriously think about how much food I buy in packaging that's non-recyclable🤔🚫♻️. Since then I've been using the app "Bulk" to find local shops that offer items in bulk (Whole Foods is a great one) + I've been shopping more frequently at my local Farmers Markets (see a few posts back)🌽🍊🍓. Using mason jars + reusable cloth + tote bags have made a huge difference, for the first time in my life I had no need to take out the trash last week✖️🚮 and I've saved heaps of 💰🤑 The best part is my pantry looks so beautiful! 💁🏽In my last haul I stocked up on dried beans, white + brown rice, whole wheat flour, sugar, steel cut oats, bananas, kale, etc...! 🍌✨🌿#bulkpantry #savethebulkapp #vegan
