skin: How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they grapple with anything that lives inside themβa beast, a curse, a failure, a monster? How do they face the smallest, weakest, most horrible version of themself? Are they able to acknowledge it at all?
with her, no. shes not comfortable with any part of herself being a willing experiment because she really regrets that part of herself and the way she trusted. shes also just painfully out of her comfort zone with the fact shes forever seen as a monster, and even just masculine, because shes "scary" and "threatening" and "violent." she really Isnt. if she had to face the smallest, weakest, most horrible version of herself, she'd be facing herself right before the experiment, when she was just a college kid who needed money and trusted that his family knew what was best. i dont think she'd be able to do anything but freeze up in horror or attack him and kill him.
break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?
for her, it would be anyone she loves being hurt by her actions or her words. she usually hides away in her shelter because shes ashamed of herself and finds that its easier to just not speak to anybody instead of actually trying to come clean and admit it because she thinks it solidifies their theories of her being a monster. nobody has seen her at her lowest, but many have come close.
iβm scared to jinx it but iβm being brave for you guys so here it goes: my livestreams havenβt crashed once since i had to switch over to mobile data (like back in september/october) itβs only ever been on standard wifi that theyβve crashed. and yes iβm sure whether thatβs true for everyone or not completely depends on your service provider etc etc, but maybe momentarily switching over for that single hour is worth trying if your streams are ever being extra annoying at any point in the future.
