"No monster could be so beautiful.. for when the devil smiles, he is no devil at all.. he is happy in that moment, and no devil could bring so much beauty into the world."
There is a little devil in us all, if there wasn't.. life would be pointless.·° - eUë
can we talk about how good game is basically a tragic alternate reality where dan’s dreams to be danny sexbang or have a band don‘t pan out and he never leaves his stoner party phase and arin is great at videogames but at what cost now he‘s got depression and trust issues and no motivation because of what happened to him as a teenager like alex and ryland are such less-well adjusted people because of their “failures” and it just blows my mind its a take on if their dreams were never fully actualized and now they live together in a shitty apartment playing a dumbass soul sucking moba that is basically league of legends like this is some crazy meta-level shit worthy of fanfic well played man

3. His Chain of Claims 👀👀👀
His Chain of Claims is a fan favorite of my writing so far, which has been a delight to see.
This series is my FaeRulie series which really just started as my attempt to let Hyrule be possessive over his family and friends.
He should be allowed to have nice things and this is one of them.
I've got some fun stuff already out mainly about Wind and Four being Baby Fae and neither knowing of this until Hyrule tells them as he recognizes it.
There's a wip fun piece in between Hyrule telling the two and Four and Wind telling others where I let the boys be kidnapped though that I'm having the most fun writing out.
Hehe.
Here's the snippet:
"Jumping to his feet,
Four notices that the bars are made of Iron,
A safe metal for them to be around.
It’s not like Iron reacts to stuff in this state.
I mean you’d have to be a fae like Hyr-
Fuck! Four grabs at his brother pulling the younger hero
Away from the bars, Away from the burning, From the pain swirling around them.
Four’s mind swirls in circles as he holds Wind in his arms.
At least most of his own skin is covered,
As long as he can cover Wind’s form
Then he can keep the other from being even more hurt.
Resting his head against Wind's shoulder he can only try to breathe through the pain.
No wonder the other hadn’t woken yet with that much contact."
Hope you enjoyed this glimpse into a new piece of the His Chain of Claims story.
Hi Satan!
Happy Halloween! How's the con?
💝🫠🍪 for Falling chains, obviously!
Hi Hoshi! (This took forever to get to... I'm blaming it on Whumptober Exhaustion and calling it a day.) It was so much fun!!! OuO Best decision I ever made I have to go again next year. Take a Link cosplay Pic as well!
And let's start chatting about Falling, Chains!
First: favorite section: Day 10. I loved the Lips Sewn Shut poem. The panic and fear mixed with no time to make a rational decision was just so much fun. It was also fun to see Warriors slowly fall into giving away his loved ones and countries secrets with no choice in the matter. That could have gone terribly f there was still a cult left over at the end. CX
Hardest Part: Day 1: It took me forever and a day to figure out how to start this. I knew what I wanted to happen but getting the words to word was a whole other thing. I at least got to brand them. And put down some references to the first hero that the cult worships.
Most loved Part: That was Day 22 Self-Sacrifice | Collar | Hunted for Sport
✨ u ✨ I was excited to write that part since I first looked at the prompts. I knew exactly what I was gonna write and then once I started writing things changed. This poem was one of those moments where the whole story had to change because of how I ended that poem. A lot of false betrayal and other shenanigans no longer exist because of the ending of that poem and I think it's for the better but it still shocked me how much changed! CX
@green-hoshi I swear I had an ask or something from you Hoshi about Red/Blue or the Trans!Girl Blue agenda and I can't find it. T~T
Anyway, it made me go feral and create a prequel for Sunshine Boy and His Supernova Girl, so enjoy Blue getting all the love and Support from Red.
Gentleman!Red/Trans Girl!Blue
--Blue--
H-She…..Blue’s not sure what they feel anymore,
The tunic that hadn’t noticeably bothered them before
Now feels too tight, almost choking in its form fitting nature.
Perfectly fitted to his body.
But it doesn’t look right.
Not for her.
It’s not like it would fit right anyway
No matter how it was made.
But it still pisses hi-Her! off.
It would be so much easier if She didn’t know.
It would be so much easier if She was a he.
He didn’t want this.
She definitely didn’t want this….
But she did.
She really did.
She wanted to hear She and Her and Sister.
She wanted to be her father’s Daughter not Son
A Granddaughter not a Grandson.
She wanted to hear her name
And everyone not think of angry, boy Blue.
At least not the boy part.
She doubted she would ever stop being ready to fight someone
At a moment's notice.
She could still punch enemies in a dress, right?
Her bright Blue eyes look back into the mirror
And she can only grimace at what she sees.
She hates the way she looks.
Nothing about it feels like her.
And if she changed anything….
People would start to question her.
What would they think about it?
What would they say about her?
It’s one thing if strangers say something
Her fists are rated E for everyone
But her grandfather?
Her best friend Zelda?
Red, Green, Vio?
How would she live knowing they
Thought it was wrong, gross, a lie?
She’ll just push it down.
She can fake this.
Not like he hasn’t done so his whole life.
He can keep this up
And no one needs to know.
No one needs to know that he feels like a girl.
No one.
—
Red had a bad feeling.
Something had been feeling off for awhile now
Something just under the radar
So Red had no idea what was wrong.
All Red knew was that there was something to be concerned about
And as he looked around the ballroom
He noticed Zelda and Green dancing away,
Vio talking to a member of nobility
And his Father sneaking small snacks away for him later in the night like when he was small.
Everyone seemed fine
But where was Blue?
Red took a second glance around the room
And yet still could not find Blue.
Where was he?
That unnerving sense of wrongness
Skyrocketed as Red’s search came up with no blue tunic wearing Link.
Red needed to find Blue, and now!
That prickly feeling of anxiety and maybe a little paranoia sparking up his spine.
Making his way over to the quietest corner of the ballroom,
He let Vio know what was he was doing
And then snuck quietly out a side door.
A soft “thump” the only sign of his exit.
—Blue—
As much as she had tried
She just couldn’t stay in the ballroom without making a scene.
The constant he’s and sir’s
And you look handsome tonight, Blue.
She wanted to rip something to pieces
But nothing was there for her to destroy.
Nothing to get this nauseating feeling out of her stomach
Or the anger in her heart
Or the soft fear of everything she was feeling
Slowly sinking into her soul.
Fiddling with her gloves
As she sat on the bench in the garden alone.
At least alone no one could say anything to hurt.
No one could make her feel more terrible than she already did.
Except, the ringing echo of Red calling for her
Broke the tenuous peace she had.
Of course Red would notice.
Of course Red would care.
The others would leave her alone
But Red never did.
But Blue really wished he would tonight.
Unfortunately for Blue, Red had already found her.
“Blue! There you are!
I was worried when I couldn’t find you at the ball.”
Red speaks with elation
Rushing down to sit right besides Blue.
–Red—
The two had been peas in a pod since their last adventure.
Having grown close over their struggles and hardships.
It may be a slight prideful
But Red knew that he knew Blue best.
Knew him better than himself at times.
So, it was no surprise that Red could tell
That Blue was feeling uncomfortable about something.
Red just relaxed, letting a gentle silence keep the peace
While Red looked for what was wrong.
If Red didn’t know better he’d say it was the clothes.
Blue kept fidgeting and pulling at his tunic and gloves.
But his outfit had been tailored by the royal tailor for this event.
It was perfectly made for him.
And Blue took great pride in his grooming
So, the two both knew he looked fantastic tonight.
So, why did it still feel like that was the answer.
Nothing else seemed wro-
“I think I’m a girl!” Blue blurts out,
Tense from the silence that had grown over the last few minutes.
“Shit.” Blue whispers before bolting from the garden.
Leaving Red sitting on the bench alone in shock.
“Oh…..It was the clothes.”
Red takes a moment, let's the shock fall away
And the statement slot into place.
Blue’s a girl.
Blue’s a girl forced into a formal male uniform.
Blue’s a girl at a ball where everyone only knows her as a man.
Blue!
Red rushes to his feet
Trying desperately to remember where she ran.
Gathering his wits he remembers her path to the south
And can only think of one place she would want to go:
Grandpa Smith’s forge.
Somewhere she can be in peace and
Smash anything she wanted into something usable.
He hoped the others would enjoy the ball for them.
It was gonna be a long night for the two of them.
—Blue—
Slam! Slam! Slam!
God, how stupid could she be!
She knew not to speak up.
Not to say anything about this.
Her whole plan was to just bury it
Not that she was trying too hard when it hurt to even think in he’s and him’s.
Tears building up in her eyes
As she gritted her teeth
And she slammed her hammer against metal once more.
It would feel more cathartic if the slam of her hammer actually did something.
But her favorite hammer couldn’t make her a man
No more than the stupid tunic thrown over the chair in the corner.
She wanted to scream
She wanted to cry
But nothing was gonna make this night any better.
Not after the look on Red’s face
The shock was clear as day.
She couldn’t stay to see it turn into disgust,
But she knew it would happen.
She knew it just like she knew he wa-
The door slammed open as an out of breath Red entered the forge.
Tense, hammer feeling more like a weapon now than ever before,
Blue waited…
Waited for the shoe to drop and the hate toward her to spill out.
—Red—
Red wished he had more breath in his lungs but he needed to be quick.
“Blue, I love you whether you're a boy or a girl.”
Taking a big breath in to steady himself he continues,
“You’ll always be my strong Blue.
My dependable Blue.
The Blue who has my back.”
“Blue…”
Red reaches out for Blue’s hands,
Pulling the hammer from her tight grip
And replacing it with his own sword callused hands.
“You are the most honest person I know.
So, if you think you’re a woman, then you are.
Nothing could change how much you mean to me.
And I will never stop being by your side.”
Pulling her away from the forge and the heat,
Letting her calm as he rubs his thumbs against her knuckles.
“Is there anything I can do to help or support you?”
A shattered look in Blue’s eyes mending slowly
As the girl he loves tries to pick up her bravery and speak up.
A whispered,
“I-I I don’t know.
It’s not like I can have what I want.
It’s not like I can be who I want to be!
No one would take me seriously
And nothing will change!!!
I just-How do I live like this, Red?”
Frustrated tears peeking out
Before Blue roughly wipes at her face,
Anything to get them away.
Anything to keep her “weakness” hidden.
But Red can see the fear starting to trickle back in.
She can see the frustration leading to a bullheaded anger.
Time to shake things up.
Gripping her hands in his more tightly,
“Would you dance with me, my Lady?”
Softly spoken into the forge
As Red blushes at his impromptu question.
“What?”
Blue’s shocked face bringing a sense of relief
As the tension disappears
And Red takes care to change it to a pleasant enjvirnment.
“Let me show you how.
Let me treat you like the Lady you are, Blue.
Let me remind you that you’re not alone.
Let’s dance!”
—Blue—
She’s…. Shocked?
Confused?
Overwhelmed and delighted.
Red doesn't care.
Not about her gender at least.
Her happiness though is on Red’s list
And the gallant boy before her wants to dance.
His left arm winding around her side to hold her to him,
As his right winds fingers into hers.
She’s never followed,
Only led.
She’s so gonna step on his feet.
But she also kinda wants to
To relax and just enjoy the night.
A step to the side
And Red is off
Starting them off slow.
Letting her get used to the feeling,
The different steps
And then he turns her.
She never knew she wanted it
Until he guided her through it.
Pushing her out before pulling her back in.
A small smile forming as a match to his grin that shines back at her.
The two heroes locked in each other's gazes
As the dance continued on,
No music,
No audience.
Just Lady Blue and Sir Red enjoying their night at last.
—Red—
Pulling the prettiest girl in his mind back to him,
He can only think
“I would give you the world if you would only keep smiling back at me.”
And she can only think,
“I would do anything to keep you by my side
Warm and gentle.”
“I don’t know what tomorrow will bring Blue
But I want to be there with you every step of the way.”
A crooked grin spreading before she responds
“Then stay.”
