I was only able to watch Dara's open mic in Hongdae today, and I couldn't stop crying. Her story was so relatable. It was so similar to what I'm going through and her talk helped me a lot to feel better. Her story about being a member of 2NE1 was nothing new but still heartbreaking. She said that despite all the disappointments and mishaps though, she's had two prime moments in her life so far. Moments when she felt truly happy. First one was when she became a celebrity in the Philippines and the second one was when she became part of 2NE1. After the group disbanded, she's up to start again but she's not wavered for she believes that greater things are coming. She's so smol and pure and sincere, I could hear her heart breaking as she spoke. At the same time, there was hope in her voice which cheered me on. I'm like, if this super kind and talented and beautiful bean had failed so many times but still got the courage to start over, then why wouldn't I? Thank you and Love you Ate Gan-Dara ❤
