In light of recent events I would like to propose a new Undertale AU: Sanstale.
Everyone is Sans. No change in behaviors, no change in attacks, no fancy redesigns, just a bunch of Sanses dressed as the other characters. Flowey Sans is just Sans in a green morphsuit with flower petals taped to his skull. Papyrus Sans is wearing Papyrus’ battle body and makes puns with Sans Sans. Mettaton Sans? Sans wearing a cardboard box made to look like Mettaton. Asgore? Sans with a crown. All of the monsters you random encounter? Sans. Everyone is Sans, except for Frisk, who is still Frisk.
The catch: Chara is normal Sans. As in, regular Sans. The Sans from the normal timeline. Sanstale is a timeline in which something went horribly horribly wrong and now Frisk is travelling with normal Sans narrating everything in comic sans as they try to figure out how to fix the timeline.

Finally, An Idea For a Swap AU!
Take every Sans, from every major swap AU. Then combine them into a single setting where everyone is Sans, and Sans-Classic begs for the sweet release of death.

Sans classic of course, secretly loathes Blueberry Swap-Sans. Both because he took Papyrus’ spot, and because he's just so gosh darn embarrassing to look at.
Every Sans in the underground shares a tab with Grillby-Sans. That tab is bigger than the entire GDP of the underground. And of course, then we have the darkest most terrifying thing in the sansTale universe. Sanstale Alphyne! ....On second thought, maybe this isn’t such a good idea. <_<
