How strong do you think Tikal is? Iβve always headcanonned her as being as strong as the likes of Knuckles, if not stronger. She could lift an entire mountain on just her pinky finger without any effort π

There's actually a canonical answer for this!
Going off the info we have from the SA2 Battle manual and comparing it against the stats we see in sonic forces speed battle you can get a pretty good idea for where she sits strength/ability wise
She's not as physically strong as characters like Knuckles or Amy but she's much stronger than Shadow, Sonic, etc... In addition she's significantly faster compared to the strength based characters.
If you ask me I think she's actually meant to be a glass cannon power wise. Her spiritual abilities are heavy hitters and she can avoid physical damage thanks to agility. She just falls short in up close combat which makes sense knowing her character.
But that's enough on the power scaling side, interaction side she's certainly still incredibly strong.
Maybe not a mountain but I imagine she could lift a car or more with ease. Actually it'd be pretty funny if she was self conscious about her strength only because it's considered "weaker" compared to other echidna's. In fact that could explain why she's sunk a lot of her combat into agility instead.
It'd make sense if she learned to spare against the warriors in her clan by means outside brute force. That feels super in character for her.
Tldr: picture and arm wrestling contest. She's not beating Knuckles or Amy but she'd fold Shadow like laundry and yeah he'd probably like it.
