⌗ SANGWON ;; i got bored so here u go 😋 / lee sangwon x reader, shy sangwon.
summary: Your boyfriend's shy attempt at kissing you keeps getting interrupted by his sharp nose, tickling yours.
The movie had been over for at least half an hour, the credits long gone, replaced by the faint glow of the streaming menu. Neither of you had reached for the remote, though. The room was filled only with the hum of the TV and the soft sound of your breathing, your body tucked comfortably against Sangwon’s chest.
It was the kind of silence that wasn’t awkward—it was charged, buzzing, like both of you were waiting for something to happen but too shy to make the first move.
Sangwon’s arm rested loosely around your waist, but you could feel the tension in him. Every time you shifted, his fingers twitched against your side, like he wanted to pull you closer but didn’t quite dare. You tilted your head back to glance up at him, catching the way his jaw clenched, the faint red creeping up his neck.
“Why are you sitting so stiff?” you teased softly, poking at his chest. “You act like I’m going to bite.”
He blinked down at you, flustered. “I’m not—” He swallowed, gaze darting away. “I just… don’t want to make you uncomfortable.”
You smiled, warmth blooming in your chest. “Sangwon,” you murmured, shifting so you were facing him fully. “You couldn’t make me uncomfortable if you tried.”
That shut him up. His eyes found yours again, wide and uncertain, but there was something else there too—something that made your pulse skip.
You leaned in slowly, giving him time to pull away. Your nose brushed his, his breath caught, and you felt him tense beneath you.
Just as your lips brushed his, a feather-light tickle against your skin made you break into an unexpected laugh. You pulled back slightly, giggling into your hand.
Sangwon froze, mortified. “Wait—what happened? Did I—did I do something wrong?”
Still laughing, you shook your head. “No, no—it’s just…” You struggled to catch your breath, grinning. “Your nose tickled me.”
His ears went bright red instantly. “Oh my God,” he groaned, hiding his face in his hands. “That’s—so embarrassing.”
You tugged gently at his wrists until his hands dropped, revealing the flush spreading across his cheeks. “It’s not embarrassing,” you teased, brushing your nose against his again deliberately. “It’s actually kind of cute.”
He ducked his head, but you caught the shy smile tugging at his lips. “Cute,” he repeated under his breath, as though he wasn’t sure if he believed you.
Before he could overthink it, you kissed him—soft at first, coaxing. His breath stuttered, but he leaned in, his lips tentative against yours, testing. You slid your hand to the back of his neck, pulling him closer, and that was when he gave in.
The kiss deepened, his mouth parting against yours, and you felt the tension in his body snap into something else entirely. His grip on your waist tightened, drawing you closer until you were practically straddling him. Every brush of his lips grew more urgent, more sure, the shy hesitation melting into raw want.
Still, his nose kept nudging against yours, tickling in that same ridiculous way. You smiled into the kiss, breaking away for only a second. “Still tickling me,” you whispered, breathless.
His laugh was low, a little shaky, but his eyes burned when he met yours. “Guess I’ll just have to keep kissing you until you don’t notice.”
And then his lips were back on yours, hungrier this time, his tongue brushing yours just enough to make your chest tighten. He kissed like he was finally letting go of all the restraint he’d been holding onto, like the only thing that mattered was keeping you close.
By the time you pulled away for air, both of you were breathless. He rested his forehead against yours, his nose still brushing yours lightly, making you laugh all over again.
“You’re ridiculous,” you whispered.
“And you,” he murmured back, his voice low and rough with emotion, “make me insane.”
You grinned, brushing your lips over his again in a teasing ghost of a kiss. “Good. I like you insane.”
This time, when his nose tickled yours again, you didn’t stop laughing. You let it melt into the kiss, imperfect and messy and absolutely perfect all at once.

⠀• &500 barista!sangwon x regular f!r fluff⠀⠀⠀teasing⠀⠀ ⠀kms jokes skinship
ah yes, the cute barista at the café near your highschool that you’ve been going to since middle school. lee sangwon. you’d remembered his name from the first time you saw him since his nametag had cute little flowers on it.
you flirted with him shamelessly— but it seemed like he thought you were just teasing him playfully. you liked him so much, how could he not realize it?
as you’re walking to the café with your friend yunah, you say, burying your face in your hands, “if sangwon doesn’t see the signs this time, i’m seriously jumping off a cliff.”
yunah just rolls her eyes and replies, “why’re you so whipped for him? i mean— i get he’s cute ‘n allat, but he’s so oblivious!”
“that’s what makes him cuter!” you exclaim, sighing as you open the door to the café. there he was. your boyfriend who didn’t know he was your boyfriend yet.
he’s getting someones order— a girl. it makes you slightly jealous but then, he locks eyes with you and he smiles, giving a wave. you light up and wave back.
“you look like an absolute dork.” yunah mutters out, dragging you to the line.
once you’re in front of him, you just stare.
his hair, his eyes, those lips, his baby face—
“hey, y/n.”
his soft voice snaps you out of your little observation.
“sangwon.” you say back, smiling at him. he smiles back, already putting in your order on the ipad. “the usual, right?” sangwon asks, looking at you again.
you nod, unable to hide the blush on your face. yunah watches you two, a silent scoff escaping her lips. when you two sit down, she slams the table, making a few people look over.
“what’s wrong?” you ask, tilting your head in confusion. “he’s so into you!” yunah yell-whispers at you and you can’t help but laugh.
“i wish.” you say flatly. “you are the dumbest person i know.” she says, rubbing her temple with two fingers. “he looks at you the same way you look at him!”
you pout and say, “don’t get my hopes up.” then, sangwon comes up behind you, yunah looking at him, and before you could turn your head to look at what she was looking at, sangwon kisses your cheek.
you froze, turning red as a tomato as he places your drink down on the table along with another one. sangwon walks away and you hesitantly take the drinks and there’s a note on yours it had his number on it and some words. it read; “y/n, be mine?”
on the other drink was a note that said, “another one on the house since i know you love this drink.” you glance at where he went and he’s already staring at you, smiling.
you smile back and nod. then, you get up and walk to him, hugging him. sangwon happily hugs you back, burying his face in your hair.
the scene earns some looks from his co-worker, mostly leo who was squealing with anxin. “i thought you were clueless.” you mumble into his chest.

All you did was reading a book together but you didn‘t plan to end up on Sangwon‘s lap, hands tangled in his hair, his warm and flushy cheeks feeling full in your palms, lips smushed together in a cinema-worthy make-out session.
Ok .. perhaps you could blame it on the position the two of you were in. It was definitely not a good idea to begin with. But he looked so sweet in his red long sleeve and his off-white shorts, chewing on his thumb with his book on his lap and his hair messy from how many times he threaded his own hands through it.
Also, whatever he was reading seemed so interesting that he didn‘t even notice you had entered the room. So what you did was, you lifted the book from his lap, taking a look at the cover and scanning the summary on its back.
"Hey what are you.." Sangwon protested softly, eyes blinking in confusion, his pupils slightly dilated as he had only noticed your presence in that moment. You took a seat on his lap, angling the book for him to have a good view over your shoulder as you leaned back against his body.
The male squirmed a little under your touch, obviously a bit overwhelmed by the sudden contact. But he relaxed quickly to your familar scent, shyly wrapping his arms around your waist. "Can you see everything?" You asked, shifting backwards even further, biting back a chuckle as you heard him grunting softly.
"I‘m good." He answered as he nuzzled his nose on your shoulder, eyes back to being fixed on the book in your hand.
It started with his distracting warm breath against your neck, how he‘d jokingly shook you in his embrace out of protest when you were flipping the pages before he finished reading. Suddenly you were exchanging kisses in between asking each other if it was ok to turn over. Eventually the kisses lasted longer, his tongue shyly tracing the outline of your lips. His poor book laid on the floor, abandoned and hopefully with no pages crumbled.
Facing him with your chest pressed against his, your lips were moving in sync. Sangwon‘s hands were positioned on your hips so perfectly, every of his touches feeling poetically beautiful and sending waves of bliss through your entire body.
You needed him closer, any kind of air between the two of you felt inacceptable. Sharing the same thought, Sangwon‘s lips never left your body as he moved down to your neck, nipping and nibbling on your smooth skin.
You titled your head sideways, giving him all the space that he needed to please you. No matter what body part of his connected to you, the warmth it spread was beyond endearing and had your heart racing like a marathon.
So deep into it you didn‘t even notice the sound of the pin at your front door being typed into the lock of your dorm’s door. Only when Sangwon‘s head shoot up from your neck, you were awaken from your daze of pleasure.
"What are you doing, sweetie?" You whined, putting on a sulky voice as you slowly lead his head back to your collar area. Sangwon followed slowly, eyes glued to the closed door of his own room. "I-I think Leo‘s home.."
He mumbled against your skin. He continued to pepper kisses on your shoulders but they felt hesitant and distracted compared to before. "So what?" You giggled, engulfing his head deeper into your arms. The action made Sangwon feel safer as if he was hidden in your embrace, yet he was still too nervous to continue to his hearts content.
Sensing his uneasiness you took the matter into your own hands, kissing his ear and the skin right below it, knowing very well that it was his weakest point. Sangwon fluttered his eyes shut, whimpering softly as he leaned back, exposing more of his milky skin to you.
"What if he runs into us?.." He whispered, a soft groan betraying his worries right after. A smile of victory crept up to your lips. You knew he felt too good to stop.
"He just got home from work so he‘s probably going to sleep immediately. Just like he does every day, no?"
"B-but it‘s sunday tomorrow .."
"Yes, great right? So we can stay up all night and sleep in tomorrow!" You giggled, catching his lips into a melting kiss that he couldn‘t resist, his worries fading away in your sugary sweetness.
***
Leo actually did sleep immediately after getting home, however this lead him to waking up before the two of you.
When he roamed around the empty kitchen, putting together simple breakfast with all the ingredients you had left for this week, he couldn‘t help but think that something odd was in the air.
The pieces of his puzzle slowly started coming together, when Sangwon and you came downstairs to join him in the kitchen at the same time.
The three of you exchanged good mornings and ate your breakfast in a non-awkward silence. It wasn‘t unusual that the three of you enjoyed your food in peace but Leo‘s darting eyes between the two of you was not always (or never) a part of that.
"Leo, do you not enjoy your own food?" You teased, spreading the yolk of your second fried egg on your toast.
Leo cleared his throat, raising an eyebrow at you as he scanned Sangwon‘s figure from head to the bottom of whatever was visible from his point of view. Focused on the younger‘s hair that was even more of a mess than usually.
"I do, I just haven‘t seen the two of you when I got home so I‘m taking a good look."
You giggled at his silly remark, leaving the situation as it is but compared to you Sangwon was not as good as playing it off. Instead he kept his gaze glued to his empty tea cup.
"Don‘t look too much, it‘s impolite." Sangwon mumbled, cheek rested against his fist as he stirred .. basically nothing.
Getting up from your seat to put the plate into the dishwasher, you gave the two of them a wave. "Leo, you can spend more time looking at beautiful Sangwon but I‘m meeting my friend for a coffee so I‘ll get ready real quick. I‘m running late."
As you left the kitchen you still heard Leo‘s acknowledgement of your appointment. If you only stayed a few minutes longer you‘d have still witnessed, Leo‘s dirty smile at Sangwon.
He shook his head, dipping his bread into his cup of milk. Feeling played by his friend‘s irritating stares and mysteries laughs, Sangwon got up, putting his dishes away, ready to leave the kitchen.
"I don‘t know what you‘re up to but if you‘re looking for me I‘ll be in my room reading all day."
"Sure thing, just make sure to tell her to cover up the hickey before she leaves. It‘s your doing‘s after all."
The elder patted his shoulder and passed by him through the entrance. Sangwon was left standing behind, speechless, heat crawling up his face. But just when he was stomping towards Leo to scoff at him, he pointed his finger backwards towards the kitchen without turning around.
"Would you please clean my plate?"
"Do it on your own?"
"Hm, sure. Oh, wow look! Sanghyeon just texted me. I think I have something funny to tell him about today‘s mor-
anywhere with you feels right ✶ rainy bookstore dates
۶ৎ in which... you and sangwon are on a bookstore date when it suddenly starts to rain outside. before you can panic though, sangwon offered to share his umbrella. so there you are, light splatters of rain landing on your legs as you stood together.
🎧 ྀི lee sangwon x reader fluff est. relationship ʚ 891 words ɞ sorry guys, i got lazy n lost at the end so it's kind of meh. i hope you'll still enjoy! ─── ☘︎
one of your favorite dates to go on were bookstore dates. both you and your boyfriend were avid readers, though genres and preference was where you truly differed. while sangwon enjoyed reading books about self help and prose, you enjoyed being consumed into a world of myths and fairy tales.
this particular bookstore was one you frequently visit, the warm, orange lights providing a familiar comfort as you walked through the door. a shelf of new releases and discounted books were placed right in the middle, making you stop for a moment to skim through the fresh titles.
sangwon was peering behind you, looking at the shelves on the far end. with a light tap on your shoulder, he said, “i’m gonna go to the left aisle, okay?”
letting out a simple mhm, you leaned up to place a quick kiss on his cheek before he left, returning your focus on the table and completely missing your boyfriend’s flustered expression.
deciding to pick up one of the romance books from the pile, you made a beeline towards your favorite aisle: the fantasy aisle. and conveniently enough, it was right next to the ya section, so you thankfully didn’t have to walk across the bookstore to find the books that you wanted. you had two titles in mind that you wanted to purchase, wings of starlight and the night circus. though, you had already gone off your shopping list, what with ann liang’s newest rom-com being held in your hand.
once you had found the two books you were looking for, it took everything in you to not purchase a special collectors edition of one of your favorite trilogy’s of all time. and so there you stood, contemplating for the past five minutes on whether or not you should harm your wallet or turn away and find sangwon before consumerism got to you.
giving in to temptation, you were going to reach for the beautiful hardcover book when a pair of arms wrapped around your waist, eliciting a small yelp from you.
“sangwon!” you hit your boyfriend's arm with your small stack of books. “do not scare me like that!”
at the sound of his pleased laughter, you let out a small huff before turning around in his hold. he was grinning from ear to ear, his hair falling perfectly as he tilted his head, eyes so full of love. if you hadn’t felt like your soul nearly left your body, you would have brushed aside his prank.
at the sight of your adorable pout, sangwon started peppering small kisses across your face. “did i ever tell you that you look so cute when you’re like this?”
you held a hard gaze at him. “you mean pissed off and ready to pull your hair out?”
“yes,” he smiled innocently. “though, i think, you like my hair far too much to pulling at the roots.”
“don’t challenge me.” you told him pointedly.
sangwon smiled and looked at the shelf of books you were contemplating at. “were you planning to spend your money on an overpriced hardcover?” he raised his brows.
“sangwon, it has painted edges and special art of the characters inside.” you tried to justify. “and besides, just look at the cover.”
“it is nice.” he eventually nodded.
“exactly. and i love myself, so i’m gonna buy it.” you say, grabbing the book from the top shelf.
at the sight of you pushing yourself to stand on the tips of your toes, sangwon easily grabbed the book, handing it over to you. “do you love yourself more than the stability of your wallet?”
squinting your eyes at him, you snatched the book from his hand and started to make your way towards the counter. it was only then did you notice the light drizzle and dark clouds outside the window.
widening your eyes, you turned around and looked at sangwon, the slight panic clear in your eyes. “i didn’t bring an umbrella! sangwon, what do i do?”
“no need to panic,” he placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder. “we’ll just share mine.”
a sense of relief slowed down your racing heartbeat. at least you wouldn’t be completely drenched in the rain, which was currently rushing down harder into the ground as time passed.
the two of you quickly paid for your books (well, more like sangwon paid for your books, even though he was complaining about the high price of the hardback just moments ago) and left the bookstore, staying under the cover of the roof while you opened sangwon’s umbrella.
“here, let me hold it.” sangwon offered.
you shook your head lightly, smiling at the kind gesture. “sangwon, you’re already holding seven books in your bag. i’d be glad to hold the umbrella for us.”
using your free hand to hold his, you held the umbrella above the two of you and started walking away from the bookstore. once you had left the cover of the roof, the rain started splattering on your umbrella, sliding down the fabric as light droplets came in contact with your shoes and legs.
as the two of you walked under the gloomy weather, sangwon dipped his head down to place a kiss on the top of your head. you looked up to smile at him and the two of you continued walking back home.

a/n: Hiii, it’s my first time posting so kinda nervous, anyways I hope u guys enjoy <3
Pairing: Lee Sangwon (ALD1) x reader
Genre: Angst, Fluff
Word count: 3.6K
Summary: Things haven’t felt right between you and Sangwon lately. What starts as quiet distance slowly turns into something heavier—unspoken words, hurt feelings, and doubts neither of you can ignore. When everything finally comes to a breaking point, both of you are forced to face what’s really been standing between you—and decide if love is enough to bring you back together.
You knew something was wrong the moment Sangwon stepped into the apartment.
Usually, he greeted you with that tired little smile you loved—the one that said, “I missed you even though I won’t admit it.” But tonight, there was nothing. Just a faint nod before he walked straight into the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of water, and disappeared into his room.
Your chest tightened.
This wasn’t the first time things had been weird between you lately, but this time it felt heavier—like something unspoken was hanging between you.
You hovered by the doorway for a moment before finally saying, “You’re home late.”
He didn’t even glance up. “Yeah. Schedule ran over.”
“You’ve been doing that a lot,” you murmured, crossing your arms. “Coming home late and not saying much.”
Sangwon capped his water bottle, his jaw tightening. “I’ve been busy. You know how it is.”
“I do,” you said quietly, “but that doesn’t mean you get to treat me like I’m invisible.”
That got his attention. His head snapped up, eyes dark. “Invisible? Seriously, Y/N?”
“Well, what else am I supposed to think?” you snapped, your own frustration bubbling up. “You barely talk to me anymore, you ignore my texts, and when you’re here, you’re… somewhere else.”
He scoffed under his breath, setting the bottle down harder than he meant to. “That’s rich, coming from you.”
You blinked. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
He leaned against the counter, crossing his arms. “You and Jaemin. The late-night practices. The laughing. The pictures.”
It hit you all at once. So that’s what this is about.
You took a careful breath. “You’re jealous.”
“I’m not jealous,” he said too quickly. “I just—”
“Yes, you are,” you cut in. “You saw me helping a trainee, and instead of asking me about it, you decided to assume the worst.”
He laughed humorlessly. “You think I didn’t notice how happy you looked in those photos? You were glowing, Y/N. When was the last time you looked at me like that?”
His words hit you like a slap.
You stepped forward, voice trembling. “Do you even hear yourself? You’re punishing me for caring about someone else’s success. You know how hard training is. I was just helping him, Sangwon. That’s all.”
He shook his head, voice rising. “You don’t get it! I’ve worked my whole life for this debut—years of being nobody, years of hearing I wasn’t good enough. And now that I’m finally someone, the thought of losing you—of you finding someone better—” He stopped himself, his voice breaking slightly.
Your heart softened for a moment, but then anger flared again. “So instead of trusting me, you chose to doubt me? To shut me out?”
“I didn’t shut you out,” he said, though his tone wavered.
“Yes, you did!” you shouted. “You’ve been shutting me out for weeks, and I’ve been trying so hard to be patient, to understand, but I can’t keep doing this if you won’t even let me in!”
The room fell silent except for both your uneven breaths.
He turned away, fists clenching. “Maybe we just need space.”
You froze. “Space?”
“Yeah.” His voice was low, almost defeated. “Maybe that’s what we need right now.”
Your throat closed up. You wanted to scream, to cry, to beg him not to say that—but instead, you whispered, “Fine. If that’s what you want.”
He didn’t stop you when you grabbed your things and walked out.
And the door closing behind you sounded a lot like heartbreak.
Three Days Later
Silence had never felt so loud.
Everywhere you went, reminders of him lingered—his hoodie draped over your chair, the faint scent of his cologne on your pillow, the half-written lyric notebook he’d left on the coffee table.
You tried to distract yourself, throwing your energy into work, but every time you passed by the practice room and heard laughter, your chest ached. You missed him. Even the quiet, brooding version of him.
On the fourth night, your phone buzzed. You grabbed it so fast it nearly fell out of your hands—but it wasn’t him. Just a group message from a friend.
You sighed, setting it down. Maybe it really was over.
Until a knock echoed through your apartment.
Your heart leapt.
When you opened the door, Sangwon stood there, hands buried in his jacket pockets, eyes red-rimmed and tired.
“Hey,” he said softly.
“Hi.”
Neither of you moved for a long moment. The air between you was thick with things unsaid.
Finally, he sighed. “Can I come in?”
You nodded, stepping aside.
He sat on the couch, fidgeting with the hem of his sleeve. You sat across from him, heart pounding.
“I owe you an apology,” he said finally, voice low. “I was jealous. And insecure. I saw those pictures of you and Jaemin, and I just—lost it. Not because I don’t trust you, but because I don’t trust myself.”
You frowned softly. “What do you mean?”
He looked up at you, eyes glassy. “I’ve spent years trying to be perfect—trying to earn this career, this debut. But sometimes I feel like I don’t deserve you. Like you’ll wake up one day and realize you could have someone who isn’t always busy, always tired, always—” He exhaled shakily. “Someone better.”
Your anger dissolved completely.
“Sangwon…” You moved to sit beside him. “You don’t have to be perfect for me. You just have to be honest with me. That’s all I ever wanted.”
He swallowed hard. “I know. I messed up. I let my fear control me, and I hurt you in the process. I hate that I did that.”
You reached out, taking his hand in yours. It trembled slightly, but he didn’t pull away.
“I was scared too,” you admitted. “That you were slipping away. That maybe fame would change you, or that I wasn’t enough anymore. But I never stopped believing in us.”
Sangwon looked at you like he was seeing you for the first time again—like he couldn’t believe you were still there.
“I don’t deserve you,” he whispered.
“You do,” you said firmly. “You just have to believe it.”
For a moment, neither of you spoke. Then, slowly, he leaned in, pressing his forehead against yours.
“I’m sorry,” he murmured again, voice cracking. “For ignoring you. For yelling. For making you feel like you weren’t enough.”
You smiled softly, brushing your thumb against his cheek. “You’re forgiven. But next time you feel jealous, try talking to me instead of giving me the silent treatment, okay?”
He chuckled quietly. “Yeah. That was stupid.”
“Really stupid,” you teased, and he grinned faintly—the first real smile you’d seen from him in days.
“I missed you,” he said, voice barely above a whisper.
“I missed you too.”
He cupped your face then, his touch gentle, hesitant, before closing the gap between you. The kiss was slow—unhurried, full of all the love and regret and relief you’d both been holding in.
When you finally pulled away, his eyes were soft again, his thumb tracing circles against your skin.
“I’ll do better,” he promised. “No more silent treatments. No more stupid jealousy.”
You smiled. “Good. Because next time, I might not forgive you this easily.”
He laughed, leaning in to kiss you again, this time lighter, playful. “Noted.”
You rested your head against his shoulder, feeling his heartbeat steady beneath your palm.
lee sangwon! x reader (sangwon - café worker! cute & cozy atmosphere, first meeting)
a/n: it was very exciting to write about sangwon, if you have any suggestions lmk 🫶🏻
lee sangwon works part-time at a small, cozy café near the university. a place where many people stop by after a day of classes or work.
for him working there is just another day to live through, observing people closely and noticing the small details about them that spark his curiosity.
you happened to get caught in the rain as you stepped out of the university building. you didn’t have an umbrella with you. so the only thing you could do was wait out the rain in the cozy café you spotted from afar, just beyond the massive building you had been in.
even though you’d never been inside, the warmth from the place could be felt from a few meters away. you heard about the cozy spot from your friend Leo. he’d been buzzing in your ear nonstop about how you should stop by whenever he’s working.
you weren’t really the type to hang out in little coffee place and waste your time alone when you could just go home and enjoy some peace and quiet after a long, tiring day. you also forgot about leo’s work schedule. so you sent him a quick text, but he probably wouldn’t reply right away. shrugging it off, you ran into the small building to escape the rain.
but as you ran, you got completely soaked. you really should’ve checked today’s weather forecast.
as you stepped inside, the pleasant smell of pastries and coffee greeted you. and before you knew it, your eyes were darting around the little coffeehouse.
sangwon lifted his eyes away from the dessert shelves and studied your drenched appearance with curiosity. you looked flustered and adorable. he wanted to come and help you. so he stopped arranging the pastries and started walking toward you.
but then something made him pause.
because you were already making your way to the table by the window.
"great choice," sangwon thought.
you carefully took off your brown leather autumn jacket and set it aside along with your black bag.
your eyes fell on the view outside the window. the rain was pouring so hard that you figured you would be stuck here for a while. long enough to consider ordering something to eat. after all, you barely had time for breakfast. so after classes you definitely didn’t want to go all hungry. you needed the energy. and besides something tasty like desserts would lift your mood for the entire evening.
"will you be ordering anything?" a waiter approached you ready to take your order. you were still deciding. but he wanted to suggest some coffee and his favorite cake.
without thinking much, you agreed to his recommendations.
he seemed really friendly and polite to you. he wasn’t insistent at all but even somehow cute when a wide slightly shy smile spread across his face after you said "sure."
"just a moment. i’ll bring your order right away."
sangwon went to make your coffee. sweet enough to taste good but not too much that it wouldn’t pair perfectly with his signature dessert. actually. his favorite treat. which wasn’t on the original menu. that was his little secret. he offered it to you because he liked your presence. he felt he could describe you as a quiet yet somewhat mysterious person.
he wanted to get to know you better.
"here’s your order," he said as brought it over. adding that it would be personally from him, for free.
"that’s so unexpected! thank you," you replied with a bright smile. sangwon couldn’t help but notice how pretty your smile was.
"smile more often, it really suits you."
he’s the kind of person who comments on whatever he’s thinking, even if it takes a little time.
you noticed he had a notebook where he wrote down short stories about the people he saw in the café. it seemed really unusual to you.
leo was his best friend. and they shared a lot of conversations or spent their shifts together in unusually bright, lively ways, which helped sangwon feel comfortable and at ease.
sangwon hoped you enjoyed talking with him and that he would see you again.
after all, now you shared not only a mutual friend but also some pleasant first memories of each other.
lee sangwon would continue thinking about you and writing down in his notebook the little things he noticed in your future encounters, along with his feelings for you.
