Sandtail is a nervous little cat, he often finds that being a warrior is more than what he expected. He can be a little clumsy and forgetful. But he loves his mate, Sootfoot, and dreams everyday of what their kits might be like. he loves his older sister, Shadowleg, with all his heart and she is one of the only cats he confides in.

Sandtail dearly misses her dad and she really looked up to him and despite his visible struggles in raising a daughter alone, he always worked hard to protect her. She’s both angry with Fireheart and Graystripe for keeping her father’s murder from her and understanding of why they did it. She’s vowed that if she ever crosses paths with him, she won’t even give him time to retreat or to scare him off. She’ll just snap his neck and scatter bits of his corpse from the gorse tunnel to the Moonstone.

She’s always admired Fireheart’s strength - mental and physical - and is more impressed every day by his inherent sense of justice. He’s not intimidated by her own strength and eagerly keeps up with their playful sparring score, never sour when she pulls ahead just determined to try to beat her next time. He’s also a complete cuddle-bug and she’s got the missing whiskers to prove she called him that to his face.

Sandtail is now the Hunt Head of ThunderClan, finally achieving the position she’s wanted since she was just a fresh apprentice. She keeps her head held high and radiates deep satisfaction whenever she’s performing her duties. It was just honey on the mouse when Fireheart and Whitestar then agreed to give her Tawnypaw as an apprentice. With Fireheart by her side now, she’s more content with her life than ever - sure, a lot of tragedy has happened, but now she knows who her father’s killer was, she has a doting mate, an eager apprentice and the respect of her clan. Her life is as perfect as it’ll get - well, barring the having sank her teeth into Tigerstar’s throat.
