They almost always have their nails painted black, Vegjerd keeps hers much nicer than Tomas and Bårdelia do

Bårdelia has a very flat chest and Tomas and Vegjerd tease her relentlessly for it

Tomas usually wears baggy clothes most days...

Vegjerd, well... we've all seen those pants she wore, but i imagine her wardrobe is entirely dark and elegant

Now Bårdelia, she wears only band tees, cropped camisoles, and leather pants or no pants at all

On the topic of clothing... Tomas wears sports bras almost exclusively, Vegjerd wears elegant, lace bras, and Bårdelia usually can get away without wearing a bra but when she must it's a bralette

Vegjerd and Tomas spent a night together once...

Tomas was quietly devastated when the next morning Vegjerd suggested they should move past it

Tomas often lies awake thinking about that night, fantasizing, wishing her and Vegjerd were still like that

And ever since then, Tomas has felt a bit more closed off from Vegjerd

The first time they all three had a sleepover together, Bårdelia returned from the bathroom ready for bed in nothing but a cropped camisole, underwear, and socks

They could not take their eyes off her that entire night, especially when she was sleeping in between them on that cramped mattress

Tomas is secretly a romantic and very much longs for love and affection (...and she probably will not receive those things anytime soon)

Vegjerd gets very snappy when jealous and when flustered

After becoming fully comfortable with them, Bårdelia disregards any 'personal space' and sprawls on top of them, climbs into their laps, etc.

Tomas and Vegjerd often kiss the top of Bårdelia's head without any given reason, it just became a habit for the both of them

If Tomas or Bårdelia have a particularly long day, after dinner they'll all lie down in the living room and Vegjerd will read aloud to them from whatever book she's currently reading

Bårdelia did her corpse paint once and Vegjerd and Tomas literally could not stop laughing at how terrible it was, it took an entire 30 minutes of knocking on the bathroom door before Bårdelia finally agreed to let Vegjerd do her corpse paint

If They Celebrated It Together Rather Than Returning Home To Celebrate With Their Families...

They don't celebrate Christmas religiously (obviously) but they do give each other gifts and do other festive things

Of course they are all broke as fuck but they try their best when it comes to getting gifts for one another

Tomas tries to gift them useful things like (for Bårdelia) a hoodie of Bårdelia's favorite band and (for Vegjerd) a book that Vegjerd has mentioned in passing

Bårdelia is bad at getting gifts so the fact that she gets gifts for them in general means a lot, she'd probably just get strings and picks for their bass and guitar

Now Vegjerd would spend weeks prior trying to decide the perfect things to get them, mysteriously disappearing to "run errands" when she's really going gift shopping... her "gift shopping" is going to multiple stores only to not get anything because nothing is good enough for her girls

It's a good thing she begins this process weeks before because she ends up making her own gifts for them anyway...

For Tomas, a personalized cassette tape of the songs they used to listen to when they first got into black metal and for Bårdelia, a (personally made) knitted blanket like the one Bårdelia described having as a child

Tomas gets surprisingly sentimental about her first Christmas spent with Vegjerd... they've been close for so long so it only makes sense

They all hate Christmas music so much, so instead they play their usual symphonic/black metal along with Vegjerd's seasonal addition of jazz

During the holiday season Vegjerd buys peppermint tea for herself, candy canes for Bårdelia, and hot cocoa for Tomas

Tomas is finishes it all within a few days... she's seriously crazy about hot cocoa but she's not as crazy as Bårdelia is with her candy canes

Candy canes are basically the only thing Bårdelia eats during this season

The girls threaten to suffocate her with a pillow every time she interrupts the peace and quiet with her loud crunching

Tomas put a mistletoe up purely to have another excuse to make out with them

She would purposely stand under the mistletoe so much that Vegjerd made a rule that the Mistletoe tradition only applies if Bårdelia or Vegjerd are standing under it so that way Tomas isn't charging at them every 5 minutes

Whenever they are outside in the snow, Tomas will chuck snowballs at the girls, Bårdelia loves the snow and so she'll join in but she knows better than to throw snow at Vegjerd...

Tomas, however, doesn't know better and will throw them at Vegjerd anyway, Vegjerd gets really pissed off and will shove Tomas into the snow when she least expects it

One time Bårdelia accidentally missed Tomas and hit Vegjerd right in the face, next time Bårdelia was unfortunate enough to stand near Vegjerd she ended up violently shoved face down in the snow

Regardless if it's Christmas or not, Vegjerd is always up very early

But on this special morning, she puts on jazz for ambience, makes breakfast along with each of the girls' favorite drinks, and sets out their gifts as they drag themselves into the kitchen

What Kind Of Emperor Headcanons Would You Like To See?

When the girls put their hair up, Vegjerd wears hers half up/half down and Tomas wears hers in low pony tails

Bårdelia, however, hates having her hair up

Vegjerd and Tomas have once restrained her and put her hair up (they only managed to get it into a low pony tail) and Bårdelia was so embarrassed and angry, actually clawing at them to take her hair down

When one of them is sad, stressed, overwhelmed, etc. Vegjerd will lie down face to face with her, stroke her hair, and talk very softly until she falls asleep

Bårdelia plays with Vegjerd's fingers and Tomas' clothing (zippers, hoodie strings, necklaces, etc.) when she or someone else is talking

Tomas is terrible at asking for what she wants and way more sensitive than she'll ever admit

Bårdelia is very fidget-y but it gets worse when she's anxious

So when it does get worse, usually Tomas and/or Vegjerd help her relax with a simple touch

Tomas and Vegjerd have been life long friends and understand each other like no one else but when Bårdelia came along, no one fully understanding her except Vegjerd, Tomas only got even more jealous

When she's in her feels, Tomas gets overly desperate for Vegjerd's attention and affection, so much so that she literally once bought lingerie (which is just way out of her comfort zone) to get Vegjerd's attention

Vegjerd of course knew what was going on and just held her that entire night, making it up to her...

For Tomas, the most comforting/comfortable thing in the world is Vegjerd holding her, humming to her, and feeling her hands on her

Bårdelia and Tomas actively try to piss off Vegjerd sometimes because they think she's "really hot when angry"

Bårdelia has two habits that Tomas and Vegjerd find absolutely adorable... first one being that she will repeat back a word or phrase she hears from them before actually responding to them and the second one is that she tends to copy a lot of their mannerisms and habits...

I imagine she unknowingly mimics a lot of their body language and habits and mannerisms in general but the recent ones she's picked up are Tomas' standing posture (with her arms folded across her chest and sometimes hands shoved into her jean pockets), the way Vegjerd hums before giving/receiving kisses, and the way Vegjerd puts her hand on her hip when thinking
