Like the monster.

And I could feel the jealousy radiating from my bones.

And the anger pouring out of my mind.

But why?

Perhaps because you told her you loved her just 3 days ago, while you kiss my forehead and tell me that you love me too.

And the truth is I don’t even know if there’s a difference in those “I love yous”

Because I mean mine and I know you mean yours, but more than anything I want to be the only one you love like that. I want to be the only one you share those words with in that way.

I will not be cast to the side by someone else because I deserve someone who will mean every I love you and who would stop and explain to anyone that those words are only meant for my soul to hear. Someone who will tell the past lover that it it over and that you have moved on and that you’re happy. And mean every single word.

And I don’t want to feel crazy like this green angry monster is making me feel because I have so much love to give and so much to share. But I want to feel special not like another blade of grass in a field.

I don’t want to be a monster, I want to be loved that way I’m loving you.
