Mafia mob boss AU - Buck is forced to be a petty thief by his abusive brother-in-law and to keep his sister safe. He should have known the place Doug sent him to was suspicious. The information and everything are suspicious.
It was a setup. Doug meant to send Buck to his death.
The second Buck had broken in, he didn't think anything of it with the window being unlocked.
"I just need one thing. Go in, and there should be an office with an old computer. Pop it open and get the hard drive. You've grabbed someone in the past before, so you should know what it looks like."
Just a hard drive. Should be simple and easy.
And it was. He goes in, locates the office, and removes the hard drive. He slips back out smoothly and leaves. He didn't see any cameras, but he didn't look carefully either.
Doug is away for the moment, so Buck goes back to his tiny apartment and hides the drive.
He's out in town the next day, and Doug still hasn't contacted him yet.
He'll stress about that later. He's low on funds and decides to make some quick cash. Women get picky, but guys are desperate for relief.
He's been at the club for a while now, but can't shake the feeling that he's being watched. It's been a miss all night, and he's about to call it quits until he gets approached by the most gorgeous man he's ever seen. He's older, with a neatly trimmed moustache.
"Looking for some fun?" the man says. His eyes rake over Buck's body.
"Hey there, handsome," Buck says. "I can show you some fun if you got the motivation for me?" he says sweetly as he rubs his fingers together. Money.
"Oh, my wallet is plenty of motivation for you. Private room?" he nods to the back.
Buck follows him, not noticing the looks he was getting as they pass.
Like a mouse cornered, Buck is led to a private room in the back. The man flicks his eyes to his bodyguard, who nods and steps away, closing the door.
"So, you're the little thief who broke into my house, huh?" the man hums as he sips on a small glass of alcohol. The man sets the glass down carefully and starts removing his jacket.
Buck freezes. His face pales, and his heartbeat quickens.
"I-I-"
"You what?" the man drones. "Didn't see any cameras? Your little device didn't pick anything up because let me tell you, I did have cameras," the man says. He produces a file out of nowhere and pulls out a photo of Buck's face inside the house. "Nice photo. Glad you didn't wear any masks."
"M-masks, uh, they stand out...too much..." Buck stammers. "Look I--"
The man holds a hand up. "Whoever sent you there clearly wanted you dead. That house you broke into was just a bait house," he lights a cigar he had snipped and takes a deep puff. "Usually, when incompetent people try to follow me, they fall for that house."
Realization hit Buck.
"Doug was trying to get rid of him.
"Now, I think I paid some good money for your services," the man says.
"Look, I'm so sorry. I still have the hard drive; I hadn't given it to him at all yet."
"Who do you work for?"
"I-I don't want to. If I don't do what he says, he's going to hurt my sister--" Buck pleads.
"I asked who you work for."
"M-my brother-in-law. Doug Kendall."
The man blinks. "Really?" the man grins, his fangs making him look a tad feral. "Doug Kendall actually owes me money. How nice of him to deliver me my payment."
"Um, I don't have any money," Buck says quietly.
The man walks up to Buck, hand up, and tilts Buck's chin up. Tears prickle in his eyes.
"Please, you can do anything to me. I won't fight. I just wanted her safe."
"Hm," The man tilts his face to the side. "Doug owes me money. You can be my payment, or I can take your sister--"
"No! Take me, please!"
The man smiles, pleased at the answer.
"I-I can cook, or clean. I can work for you, please, help my sister."
The man groans. "I can't say no to those wet, pretty blue eyes. Well, how about you show me how much of a good boy you can be in bed?"
Buck drops down to his knees. "I promise, I can be a good boy, sir," Buck says as he nuzzles into the man's crotch.
"Good boy. My name is Eddie Diaz. I lead the Diaz crew."
"Evan Buckley. I go by Buck. I, uh, I don't belong to any one or any group."
"You belong to me now."
