I bought a sprang bag kit long ago, and today I set up "loom"
I'll be using this yarn:

Felted Tudor flat cap fail..
I did my knitting math right and wrong. The hat band fits, but the hat itself is not the right proportion. I had to felt it because the hat band was too large without felting. I attempted to adapt the pattern to fingering weight yarn, from aran weight yarn, but obviously I made some mistakes.
I will try again. In the meantime, I have to figure out what to do with my handmade felt.
