seonghwa  sniffs⸺though  the  action  proves  difficult  because  of  the  blood  that  continues  to  trickle  out  of  one  nostril,  making  him  unable  to  smell  anything  other  than  that  familiar,  metallic  tinge.  still,  he  doesn't  show  any  sign  of  the  amount  of  pain  he  was  truly  in  from  the  various  welts,  bruises  and  cuts  on  his  body⸺even  more  hidden  underneath  the  shirt  he  was  wearing⸺he  remains  standing  tall,  staring  defiantly  at  the  older  man.

though,  upon  being  gestured  closer,  he  does  listen,  sauntering  over  to  abby,  letting  him  look  him  over,  and  he  raises  a  hand  to  gently  wipe  at  his  nose,  wincing  at  the  ache  in  it.  “i'm  fine.”  he  mumbles  once,  blinking  up  at  him.  “he  was…”  he  huffs,  eyes  flickering  about.  “he  was  talking  shit  about  you.  did  you  really  think  i'd  just  stand  there  and  take  it?  fuck  no!  so  i  put  him  in  his  place.  i  broke  his  nose  and  i  was  gonna  go  for  his  jaw  too  but  you  interrupted  me.”  bitterness  tacked  onto  the  end  of  his  words.
