Safe but boring?
I was a person who travels on the "safe" path; most of the time I choose the path where I will be safe, or it'll benefit me. I go where the crowds were going, whereas there's a leader to lead me (I'm a follower), in short, my term would be "playing safe". I'm guilty of it. Why? I don't wanna lose on tract. It's safer when someone is leading me on. When I know where will I go. When I can see the path that I would take.
Its not wrong to be on that tract, I'm used to it. Safe but boring? No! It's just a while ago that I understand that people think that being on the "safe road is boring" because no one leads them, they really dont know where to go, there's no goal on their travel, why? given that they know the path that they were taking but its boring 'coz they don't know the purpose why are they heading into that path. By knowing that path and your goals in life, the purpose why are we taking the safe path is because we know that it would lead us into something, we have a goal to reach, a destination, therefore we enjoy the ride.
Safe path doesn't really mean that the road to that goal of ours is a straight path but may be also have curves ones but the thing is, we know that the road we're taking is safe 'coz we know that before we take that road, we are prepared on what are the things that we may encounter on that road.
I have been on that safe path long before, like I said, I'm used to it. But what society or my environment have taught me is that "take the rocky road and be adventurous" hence, I learned to take any path, paths that lead me into the world, beyond my limits, without knowing my goals yet I enjoyed the ride even if I knew from the start that it would lead me into something else. I know where am I heading but I'm not sure of my goals, the paths that I have taken are too early for me to take. Now, I'm lost my tract. I don't know where to go. I don't know where's the way back.
But one thing is for sure, the light. The light that has been with me from the very start of my journey in those path. I know, I'm guilty, I've lost my way with Him, while I'm enjoying the ride of the world. I've lost my faith, I even doubted if I could go back and be with Him again.
I hope that one of these days, I'll find my way back.
If you expect real change, you can't hit the easy button or go the "safe" path. Sometimes... You got to risk the dangers and take the rougher route.

The safe path will always be there for you, but what better way to live than to take risks?
