I haven't watched all of it (and don't plan to) but have been trying to figure out why Mr Bin called himself Lavender in Technical: Inhuman. There's only two reasons I can think of.

First being that it's a name he went by in the past. I mean, he's centuries old, he probably got tired of his name at times.

My second idea (and personal headcannon unless someone tells me im wrong) is that he was looking around the room when asked for his name by Altha, looking for an idea of what to call himself, and saw Nono's Lavender colored fur. If that were the case that would be too adorable AUIROTURHRHIDDHEB
