anyway heres some chlori stuff. mostly theyre used by children and adolescents but certain ones are used by all walks of chlori life and help provide, well, structure! theres probably dozens of other types of braces (feel free to make up your own, i dont know much about plants and didnt even touch on tree shapes) but heres just a few of the more common ones. click through for captions

i 100% agree that chlori dont have to be intrinsically human shaped bc they are aliens and its way more fun this way. i love this idea for chlori becuase plants are so diverse it would be a shame to waste that. aqua-twin chlori sam was your design so i promise i wont change her but i hope you dont mind me making this canon lol

lets go with the bipedal thing being the standard for space corps cadets though, as well as a very high status symbol, on account that it is easier to achieve if your parents grew into that shape. but it also requires a lot of dedication, since it is also the hardest shape to deviate from once you have that shape, versus a brace like a trellis that would allow for more adaptations/mutability. for this reason it can be somewhat controversial, especially since some see it as human influence crossing boundaries into imperialism, especially where space corps is concerned. others are completely gung-ho (ie sam’s parents)

I'm in a seriously powerful amethyst ocean mood and I've been thinking about that space AU a lot... Hear me out on this...but what if when doing research about Danny's home world Sam found something about a type of rare plant native to the planet. The info happens to state that the plant was something much beloved by halpha, but doesn't state why. She grows them and decides to show them to Danny... Catnip for Ghost Aliens...what do think would happen?

aww thats really sweet! i dont know how she would grow such a plant if the planet went boom, but maybe she found a plant that was similar to it? something with the same bioluminescence characteristic of most of the planet's wildlife so it reminds danny of home or something. like shes just got this little potted plant that glows in the dark in one little corner of the room hehe. maybe it ends up being their nightlight or something

i dunno about a catnip plant for halphas... that sounds more appropriate for sergatos dont you think ;O
