thank you for tagging me @gulliblelemon 💜 this is what i wrote yesterday when i was supposed to be editing chapter 9 of heart of the sun, oops. (someone please kick me into editing it.) my wilmon are still in space and i swear they occasionally have a good time. just, not right now.

Simon swallows past the lump in his throat and nods. “It can be repaired?” he croaks out.

“We can’t promise that,” Felice says at the same time as Henry mutters “It’s going to be really fucking hard.”

“We’re going to try. We’ll do everything we can, Simon,” Wilhelm tells him and comes to crouch next to Felice. “We’ll start going over everything we know right now and put together a plan to fix things. You don’t have to stay, it’s probably going to take hours so it’s better you get some rest—”

Simon shakes his head so vigorously it almost hurts. “No.”

“I’ll ask Maddie to take you to the sleeping space, give you something—”

“No, I want to stay. Please,” Simon pleads between gasps for breath.

He doesn’t notice Wilhelm and Felice exchange worried looks. “Okay. You stay here,” Wilhelm says softly.

Simon stays, but doesn’t really hear, let alone understand, most of what happens around him during the next hours. Because all he can think about is why he hadn’t seen this coming, why his visions had failed him.

LOUXIA SWIFTLY TITLING WIP!!!! it's still very bare bones, but basically louxia are SOULMATES (obvi) who work in a specific quadrant of space finding rare (often illegal) alien technology and either destroying it or bringing it back to study. haixia is the tech genius/engineer and hailou does Everything Else, which is mainly retrieving shit.

Their ship is set up vertically, and the engine thrusters are able to rotate to either cause thrust going forward or to keep the ship floating in position when not traveling (rn i'm basically working on designing their ship and not writing any actual plot or anything ghakdslgajskdjf).

haixia was injured in an explosion at some point, so he's modified the ship to have all sorts of accessibility features for him (haven't quite decided if i want the main thing to be anti-grav specific to haixia, or an electromagnetic travel system). haixia has trouble maneuvering around outside the ship, though he does have a modded-out hoverchair, so hailou does most of the retrieval of items, as well as chores/talking to people.

they still work for the Southern Archives, but are mainly self-sufficient with their ship; once agents are trained, they're basically sent off with no anticipation of return unless there's an emergency, so they're kinda just doing their own thing. it's gonna be a lot of space running around and tech and louxia being ridiculously codependent <3

First things I wanna address! I’m no artist. Like 90% of what I drew was using references. Like I used DR Stone character face references to help me get the faces. The wings? Pinterest. Jelly? Absolutely Pinterest. Added my own details and what I needed of course but ya really should check out Pinterest cause that helped soooooo much.

Second off, I’m so glad I finally got this down. I’ve been thinking of these characters for so long, I’m glad it got it down on paper on what they look like. Visual references are better, especially showing off alien character designs.

Now let’s go into each individual. There is no Grian for now because well, he’s human, it’s easy to imagine what DRAI Grian looks like.

Chapter 6-

This is a Terrible Idea!

The Raider Captain opens his mouth to speak but his words quickly drown as a siren blares overhead. His head snaps back and he yells something in a different language at one of his lackeys, who starts tapping hastily into their communicator. A moment later, the sirens cut abruptly.

“Now that’s better,” the Raider Captain says with visible relief. A roar echoes from the bay, piercing through the air.

OK, so this is a tommyinnit fic, it’s a space au where Tommy is human. The humans go to mars and find human bones and that’s how they learn they have been a space faring race before
