My inspiration for Dark/Evil Hatake Kakashi comes from his Japanese voice actor/seiyuu, Kazuhiko Inoue playing numerous villains since he began his career in 1973.
Some of his villainous roles are that of Kars in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency, Toichirou Suzuki in Mob Psycho 100, Jerid Messa in Mobile Suit Zeta Gunda and Gotou in Parasyte.
Ever since I first heard him in Naruto, I've become a fan of Inoue because while I admire his roles as the hero or good guy, I absolutely love it when he gets cast as the main villain because he gets a chance to show his incredible vocal range.
One prime example is during an episode of Inuyasha, Inoue who's voicing the dragon, Ryukotsusei after being stabbed in the chest states in Japanese with English subtitles, "How dare he stab me in the chest" before screaming/roaring, "Little man, you will die!" which shows that his villains have a tendency to be calm one minute yet are full of rage the next.
Hope Inoue gets to play more villains in the future.
The Battle against Ryukotsusei
Ryūkotsusei: And you never even got to say ‘good bye’ to your son.
Tōga: Wait, I have one of those? Oh god, I have two of those!
I’m sure some amount of Inuyasha’s dismissiveness in this scene is his usual bluster in battle… but I also think he does feel this way, to whatever degree. I think he mostly means it. And it hits me in the heart, because it’s another reminder of how deprived his childhood was — how he doesn’t remember his own father’s face and how now, in (relative) adulthood, he can’t even allow himself to care too much about that.
Just, UGH, I want to give him a big hug sometimes. 😭

INU|INKtober ~ Day 12 ~ dragon
I made a poll on Instagram some days ago where I asked for the „dragon“ themed motif? There where three options: Ah-Uhn, the dragon-scaled Tetsusaiga or Ryūkotsusei. Now see who won the poll ☺️
Missed the poll? Make sure to check my stories on Instagram to see WIPs, other project I do and participate in drawing related polls 😉
