The movie all but says Charlie was the only ghost in the original location. Other kids (almost certainly) got murdered, but Charlie's the only one who lingered. The confirmed group of ghosty kids moved on in the film, taking away RXQ'S most well known role.

And NONE of Special Delivery's lore works here (and Special Delivery IS canon don't @ me, you can't have the email messages about Vanessa be real without the entire game). RXQ can't punish people who try to steal remnant if there IS no remnant in the movies. And at this stage, they better not add in remnant as a plot point, it'd be too convoluted for the movies now.
