Shipping is very important to me, ever since I was a small kid. I take them very serious and I pick my OTPS with a lot of thought

So when one of them, for reasons that escape me, stops existing... it hurts

My first ex and I were stuck together by our ships, and lord it hurt when we finally split and all our ocs and their kids just... cease. I promised I would never do that again

But I did, going further than just with ocs but also canon characters, big part of it becoming "my brand" because it was part of my life. She was my everything, mated forever like some animals do

And losing it had leave me agonizing for months. I am so scared to interact with new people, not even with my current friends.

I dont want to do it again, not again. I'll rather live a miserable life rather than do it again
