It was around this time last year when I told myself I had to have a more active late fall/winter because blowing by 200 lbs is an easy thing to do nowadays (Father Time + Somewhat terrible eating habits x Winter laziness = 215lbs+). That weight wasn't so bad when there was a significant amount of weight training involved. These days, not so much. By the end of last winter I was up to 212. And here I am again, having a lazy November that's seen only two runs since my 10k on the 12th. Thanks to this month, which includes my birthday and turkey day, the laziness was compounded with a lot of trash eating. Pretty much beginning to duplicate last year. It can't happen this year. My first half-marathon is waiting on me in the Spring. It won't happen! As for the run, sluggish. Simple and plain. Most definitely thankful for the 67 degrees and light drizzle. On to shed the 9lbs of happiness I've added this month! Until next time...Peace.Love.Run
