Hi, hey, hello. It's your local nerd reporting in with a very important request. I've been an avid Runescape player for 18 years now, I started playing when I was 10-11. This game is very important to me for reasons I can't get into without being a sad sappy sack of shit but suffice it to say: the game means a lot to me. For the better part of this decade, it's been getting worse & worse with the rampant microtransactions/gambling to get certain cosmetics via microtransactions. After years of players complaining, they've finally decided to remove MTX from the game for the next 7 days as a test run. I am asking anyone that plays or used to play to please just log in and play for a bit at least once this week in the hopes of the permanent removal of MTX from the game. I know most people probably haven't even heard of this game in over a decade but I am asking that you please pleeeeease just log in, just once this week if you can.
