first week of august things 🌻
a much needed haircut and bang refresh, a lavender vanilla matcha latte and a good book enjoyed outside, sweaty runs in cute neighborhoods, cards and beers and live music at our favorite brewery, flowers from trader joes, early morning walks with my girl, and a coffee and chai date with my guy. today i got to facetime with my brother + sister in law + cutie nephew and catch up with my oldest pal to plan a visit next month. heart is so full.
sunday long run: a series
summer ‘26 is off to a good start!
finished book #13 and it was gooood. will be sitting with this one for awhile i think.
my favorite veggie sammie hyperfixation lunch.
homemade mango salsa that tasted like summer in a bowl.
running this time of year is always humbling, but i still love it.
what an experience ☄️ not fast and not easy but oh so gratifying to cross that finish line

today marks the end of 18 long weeks of marathon training. no matter how tomorrow goes, i’m proud of myself for committing to a big goal that extends far beyond my comfort zone. it wasn’t a perfect training cycle (when is it ever?), but i know i did my best. feeling grateful and excited and a little nervous for the opportunity to run such an iconic distance.
