#ruby pure heart

Still, one of the biggest disappointments that came from CN quietly killing this show without telling anyone, since just from the shots of Mao Mao looking suspiciously at the heart, it seems pretty clear, that they had planned so much more for the Ruby Heart.

Especially considering the darker (but still comedic) tone this episode had, compared to all the others. It definitely felt like they were gonna set up something big.

The Ruby Pure Heart is a symbol of kindness, caring, and having a “pure heart,” but its magic has been going against that ever since it was corrupted.

Hey I’m really drained from work and college and I feel empty inside so have some MMHOPH theories that I have thought of. These may have been thought of by others as well, but I came to these realizations on my own with context from the show. 

1. Adorabat is the rightful ruler of the throne. 

Okay so hear me out on this. The place is called “Pure Heart Valley”, and what does Adorabat have on her tum? A fucking heart. Coincidence? I highly doubt it. Here’s how I imagined it went down. Sonara (is that how you spell it? idk, I’m not googling this shit rn), was once the queen of Pure Heart Valley, which of course would make it a “matriarchy” which you know, that’s dope. Anyways, she was the queen, and as the queen it was her job to keep the valley safe from monsters. However, as we can all probably assume, she died during one of her fights. So, the queen is gone, and Adorabat would be next in line to the throne. However, we know that Eugene is a total worry boo, so he decided to give the rule of the kingdom to Snugglemane, possibly until Adorabat was of ruling age. You can consider “Zingmaster” or whatever that ep. was called as sort of “foreshadowing” of Adorabat’s royal future. 

2.  The Sweetie Pies ARE the monsters

First of all, let me just note that there is something 100% not right about the Sweetie Pies. They’re made to look so “helpless”, yet when push comes to shove, they’re strong enough to lift a couch full of mechanics and pirates (Penny and Benny), agile enough to avoid monster attacks, (Gary in that one ep w/ the puppets), and have been shown able to literally hold their own against Mao Mao (at least for a little: Farmer Bun in the cobbler ep). So, here’s my theory: The Sweeties Pies, are the monsters, and the Ruby Pure Heart doesn’t protect them from the world, but the world from them. It acts as a source to quell the power of the sweeties pies, essentially sucking in the evil of those little gremlins. The monsters around the town are not actually monsters- I mean, they are, but they were put there on PURPOSE to attack any of the sweeties pies if they ever got past the shield. The shield that Mao Mao broke when he cracked the pure heart. WHICH, that thing is fucking evil, and why is it so evil? Because it’s been absorbing the dark energy fo the Sweetie Pies. But now it’s broken, and the Sweeties Pies are slowly becoming more and more aware as they slowly regain their darkness. 

The episode "Zing your heart out" makes me think that a monster or something else is trapped inside the ruby and is trying to get out. When Adorebat was trying to fight it and she was attached to all the lines etc in her mind. (Like a puppet on strings.) For a minute all the strings she was attached to did look like a monster's face.

Maybe a long time ago there was something evil trying to destroy the kingdom etc. And the only way to stop it was too trap it in the ruby. (And maybe use it's power to create a force field to protect the kingdom who knows?) Maybe it's also trying to control people who make a wish so they can get out or make them help it finish whatever it was trying to do before it was trapped.

I'm sure other people have had this theory or something close, but I just thought about it when rewatching certain episodes.
