What does being a fan of RoosterTeeth mean to me?
This past week was RT’s 12th birthday, happy birthday by the way. When i first saw the post on the RT website I just saw it as someway for a random blogger or a twitterer to get some free cash. However I realized it is a bit more than just a reward from a random drawing. I became a part of RoosterTeeth about two years ago. I got into RoosterTeeth the same way many others have, through RageQuit. One day a video of some guy screaming at a video game popped up on my YouTube feed, from the moment it ended and I went to the channel I was hooked. I found the group called Achievement Hunters, the web show Red Vs. Blue, as well as the many great people involved in making all this content I found myself watching every SINGLE day. RoosterTeeth was a place I could go whenever I had a liable internet connection to escape and laugh my ass off. No matter my day i could go and take a breather from my daily routines and watch some morons play video games who were always having a good time. RoosterTeeth was becoming a part of who I am as weird as it may sound. Today I continue to get on a computer and watch RoosterTeeth everyday. This “contest” is not why i’m writing this. I’m not writing this to win some prize, I am writing this to say.. Thank You. You guys and girls helped me get through everyday. No matter how rough it was i could always count on RoosterTeeth to keep me going. So, Thank You. Thanks for always being well.. You. Thank You for putting out content and making me smile on a daily basis. This post may just be lost in the list of posts tagged #rt12years and just end up being me typing to no one. Even if no one ends up seeing this, thanks. And hey! You’re 12 now, celebrate! Congrats on 12 years, here’s to 12 more!
