I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe we are only fated to do the things that we'd choose anyway.
I didn’t manage to finish my Robron award gifs so I figured I’d just make a list of all of the rest of them.

Thoughts on today's episode
I went into this episode excited but with the lowest of exceptions but I still feel like it was a let down for me. Like I’m glad that it seems like the majority of you were happy with it but I think they could have done better and Robron deserved better.
I mean considering they've been hyping the wedding now since I think last year this all has felt very last minute and fanbaity. I know this is just the proposal and they'll probably do more with the wedding I wasn’t expecting something huge like what happened in 2016 with SSW when Rob tried to propose I was just expecting better.
They said that Liv and Chas were supposed to hatch some kind of plan to help them out and what we saw felt like the most half assed version of that. They weren’t really planning much it was mostly just Chas telling Aaron to meet her at restaurant and Liv telling Rob to drive him. I also feel like Chas has felt kind of out of character this year. Like given everything that happened last year it just doesn't make since that she and Paddy are now captain of the Robron ship. I mean I love Chas and Rob scenes but I liked them at the beginning of last year when she and him were like family but she still didn’t take any of his shit.Â
It seems like the show takes away Vic’s brain everytime the plot calls for it. I just feel like Vic would have checked with Rob before she left Seb with Lachlan if she hadn’t seen Rob doing that before. And just generally you don’t pawn off someone’s kid when you’re supposed to be babysitting them without letting them know what you’re doing.

1. Loved Aaron’s suit. I wish we could have seen him dressing up specifically for HIS proposal though not for a lunch date with his mother.
2. Really wish Robron could have had more time in the episode and not had to be the b plot to Rebecca but I absolutely knew something like that was going to happen. I half expected that Rob would get some kind phone call about her or Seb so at least there wasn’t that.
3. I liked that they broke down by the lay-by without actually going there intentionally. although the writing for that felt kind of clunky (like the majority of the episode).
4. I liked that they talked about the first kiss but here's the thing Rob is my favorite character i love hearing his thoughts on things especially how he felt the day of the first kiss. But I NEED to know Aaron's thoughts too. The show is not giving us enough of Aaron's pov.
5. I didn’t like how they had Aaron patting Rob on the leg saying I know after Rob said he was terrified of what it meant and they were sitting like a mile apart. ED still needs to understand these are two men talking about their history and how much they love each other. They’re not a couple of mates hanging out. And while I know most of fandom faints and fangirls over every touch they have it’s just not enough. Go look at a show like Unter Uns or even Days of our Lives for more accurate same sex representation. I love Emmerdale and Robron but they really need to stop treating Robron like they’re different or somehow more riske if they touch then the straight couples who touch all the time.
6. I liked the moment when Aaron realized Rob wanted to propose when Rob said something about his last car proposal and they were arguing about how they ruined each others proposal. That was one of the few moments that did what I think the majority of the episode was supposed to which was feel romcomish.
7. I thought the whole them asking at the same time and saying jinx was corny as hell. They still could have turned this into a sweet romantic thing with bits of cute funny fluff through out and it just felt like the writers were mostly having a laugh with it the whole time. Like they didn’t take this moment as seriously as it was. I’m not saying it had to be as super serious as the hospital one was but some parts of it should have been given everything from last year.
8. As cute as this whole double proposal idea was (in theory) this proposal should have been Aaron asking Rob. Rob was the one who came up with the idea and asked Aaron last time. Given everything that’s gone on with them from last year to this year and given that Rob is usually the one to make the big romantic gestures (minus the reunion speech) this would have been Aaron’s time to reiterate that even after everything from last year he still sees his forever with Rob. But we got none of that and it mostly felt like this whole episode wasn’t even necessary to a point. I mean were there things I liked about it? Yes. But I actually kind of liked the scene we got after the reunion with them putting their rings back on more because it felt like it meant more. It was simple and understated. It didn’t feel like it was treated like a fanbaity joke, they felt way more in love in that one scene than they did in this whole episode to me where here they felt more like mates which is how a lot of times they unfortunately get written.
9. We barely got a kiss before the camera panned away. That would NEVER have happened if a straight couple just got engaged.

I kind of feel like this whole episode and the up coming wedding is mainly because something else is coming with Seb. I don’t think they would be talking about the adoption in the same episode where they decide to get remarried and Lachlan says he’s going to get Rebecca out of the country with Seb if something else wasn’t coming. I don’t know if that’s a paternity twist or if she’s going to kidnap him and leave or what but something’s coming my guess is around the time of the wedding.
