I kept hoping that the Ray storyline wasn't going to last much longer mainly because I don't really care for that character. But now that they've connected him to Celia it seems like he'll be sticking around for awhile. -_-
It also would be nice to see April get some different storylines it's been all this really heavy dark stuff for her for so long.
Charity's face when Sarah was talking about the baby. I think deep down Charity knows that baby isn't Sarah's.
Laurel and Gabby talking about private stuff in front of Nicola cue the whole village likely knowing about it all by the next day.
I totally get why Rhona was as angry as she is but her saying she hates April is so messed up.
I don't know why everyone assumes that if a man is attracted to other men he's automatically gay. I hate some of the way the stuff with Vinny is talked about because hello he can definitely still be in love with and attracted to Gabby while having attraction to men.
Celia and Ray's mother/son bond is a little too close for comfort. 🤢
I can understand Rhona's frustration because Marlon has basically been walking on eggshells for April since she came home. I get why he's been acting that way he's been worried that if he pushed her too much she'd run away again but at the same time she's still a teenager who needs boundaries. Not to mention Rhona is right they have two other kids to think of one of which is much younger and the other who has special needs. So to some extent protecting them has to come before anything going on with April.
If I was in Rhona's position I would feel like April put my whole family in danger. Even if Rhona bought the story April told about how she found the drugs (which I don't think she does) that still means April knowingly brought drugs into their home. It put the kids at risk of taking them (which Leo did) where they could have literally died, it brought a social services investigation to their house (where there is always the chance the kids could be taken out). And on top of all of that bringing any kind of outside drugs into the home put Rhona at risk for a relapse. It could have even put Rhona's job in jeopardy because she's a vet who deals with medication.
I feel like Marlon isn't angry enough at April for everything that happened. I think part of him is still traumatized from the time April ran away and thinking he'd lost her so now it's like it doesn't matter what's happening just so long as April is home. But this mentality isn't helping anyone especially not April. I do wonder what's going to happen with Marlon and Rhona if something happens to April when she moves out. Will Marlon blame Rhona for that? I know this might be unpopular but I've personally never cared for Marlon and Rhona as a pairing. I actually liked Marlon and Laurel. If they break Marlon and Rhona up eventually I think it would be really interesting for the show to revisit that pairing at some point because there is sooo much history for them.

I can't believe Paddy just said Grace would have been 7 by now. Damn time flies I remember making gifs for the episode when Grace was born.
Not surprised at all with Celia finally starting to show her true colors. I've always thought she was just a ticking bomb that Moira should be keeping a much closer eye on. Unfortunately I think Moira has gotten way to comfortable around her and let her guard down a lot and it's likely going to come back and bite her in the ass.
I was wondering if Gabby might be pregnant when the show had her specifically say she had to pee when she ran off to use the bathroom. It's just most of the time when characters talk about having to use the bathroom they say the loo and it's kind of common in soaps that when a younger woman starts talking about how much she has to pee that it's a sign she could be pregnant.
On top of that I don't think they'd have Mandy ask if she was pregnant for nothing. My guess is that Gabby will find out she's pregnant and it's going tie into the truth coming out about her cheating and all the stuff Vinny has kept hidden. I'm trying to remember when Gabby said she went to Portugal. Is it possible she could be pregnant with the other guy's baby? 🤔
How could Gabby have possibly thought Kim of all people would react any differently?
I'm glad to be watching Emmerdale regularly again I missed the show and there are characters here that I've been watching so long off and on they feel almost like real family. The show has also had some really good moments and storylines since I started watching again this year. Still I really wish that the current writers would learn how to pace their stories better. Like what's currently going on with Robron is feeling very rushed to me. I know that it's connected to the Kev stuff but I also wish we got more time to see Aaron and Robert as just friends like we did in 2016. Hearing Aaron talk about how good it is to have Robert back around the village and Chas basically give her blessing for a Robron reunion it just feels too soon. I feel like Aaron should still be a bit guarded given everything he just went through with John.
Kim giving her blessing to Vinny and them holding on that scene of Vinny looking nervous feels like foreshadowing. I wonder if Kim will seek revenge on Vinny somehow when the truth of everything comes out.
I'm sure I'll sound like a dumb American when I ask this but what exactly is netball?
Don't trust Celia at all. It looked like it physically pained her to even fake an apology to Paddy.
I hate the message this storyline with Vinny is sending to real life victims. That it would be better and safer for them to just keep their mouth shut because they'll never get real justice anyway.
I'm sorry but what in the actual fck was that scene with Robron? I didn't go into it blind because I had seen people talking about it on here and on twitter (I refuse to call it x) so I knew it was something about Robron getting back together but the way it was written was so weird. They've been writing Robert so romance coded and so all about Aaron since he showed back up in the village and yet when Aaron talked about giving him another chance Robert: 1. barely looks at Aaron 2. doesn't kiss him or hug him 3. tells him he wants to keep their relationship a secret.
This was not the Robron reunion I wanted Emmerdale. This is also not the Robron affair I was wanting (that would have been when Aaron was still with John).
God I'm so nervous for how this storyline is going to play out. I worry about the current version of the show, which let's be real isn't as good as it used to be ruining Robron with a bad storyline. I mean look at what they did in 2017. The stuff with Rebecca flat out ruined Robron for some people. No matter what direction they go in with the Kev stuff there is still going to be the fact that Robert is lying to Aaron and I hate that the show is putting Robert in this position this soon.

I'm still wondering where Vinny's storyline is going to go and if him questioning his sexuality is going to get more focus and what that will mean for him and Gabby going forward.
I love every minute I get to see Robert and Aaron in scenes again but it's also filling me with anxiety because I've seen people talking about what's coming for them in future eps. I know it's a soap and angst and drama is par for the course but I just really want to see them get a chance to be happy for a little while. It's also been so damn long since they've been able to be together and be happy and just enjoying each other's company I fear that's all going to come crashing down with however this Kev storyline plays out.
LMAO at Nicola asking Aaron when him and Robert are getting back together and her getting grumpy git Aaron telling her to mind her own business. This is the Aaron I missed when he was puttering around being John's stepford wife.
I hate that Robert is already keeping things from Aaron. I know that they're still just mates (as of this episode) but this is the worst way for them to rebuild things. Lies tore them apart in the past not to mention Aaron just had to deal with so so many lies from John.
Though like I said on my post about the previous ep I think there is more going on with this thing between Kev and Robert. I don't think this is just about Robert wanting the guy's money. I think Robert is afraid of Kev but doesn't want to tell anyone what really went on when he was in prison. I also think he doesn't want to lose a chance at getting Aaron back or put Aaron in danger so he's trying to compartmentalize it all.
Now I know I did not just hear Robert Jacob Sugden refer to some other man that wasn't Aaron Dingle as "my husband".
Robert you and Aaron have never ever in the history of time been "just friends".
Gabby seemed to buy Vinny's story pretty easily even though if my husband was telling me that I would be wondering what forum he was talking to people on (to the point that he was meeting them in person). I would also think it was weird if he didn't want me coming to support him at the trial.
I know Dylan and April are kids and Ray is a manipulative bastard but I still would expect two kids who had experience living on the street and having to fend for themselves to see through some of his bs but they never seem to.
Aaron asking if there's something he should know and Vic not telling him about Kev. Thanks Emmerdale I hate this storyline so much already.
Everytime Robert calls Kev "my husband" it takes another year off of my life. Blech.

I've already seen bits and pieces of what's going on with this guy Kev and I already don't like him. I also think there's likely more to this story than we're being told at the moment.
It definitely feels like they're starting to connect Rhona somehow with the April stuff and given Rhona's history I still think it's likely that she could end up relapsing or maybe somehow drugs will get found in the house and it will get blamed on Rhona.
Emmerdale certainly has an over abundance of strange weird men skulking around the village lately without anyone even seeming to notice or care. Ray is always around and hanging with teenagers no less and now Kev is roaming around looking for Robert.
Robron are like a couple of lovesick teenagers istg. Robert practically giggling because Aaron is texting with him.
Petition for Robert to go find whatever the 2025 equivalent of Chef Mike is and make him his temporary boyfriend until Aaron pulls his head out of his ass.
