i was wondering but what exactly is a 1x1 and how does it work? whats its difference from multimuse? i have so many ideas for muses and was considering making either a 1x1 or a multimuse
[ DEFINITION ]
1x1: A one by one roleplay that is composed of two role players.
It is you and another role player roleplaying with each other and no one else (hence one by one). These roleplay accounts are essentially independent accounts, but they only interact with each other.
Multi-Muse: A roleplaying account playing multiple characters.
This is when a role player manages one role playing account that contains two or more characters (2+). Though the number of muses can vary, the role player would play all of them simultaneously.
[ Q&A ]
Q: How does it work ?
When you have a 1x1 account, think of it as a personal account for all of your roleplaying needs. Here you will generally post open/closed plots, plot ideas/plot bunnies, and any information about characters you may have and/or want to play.
Having a 1x1 account gives you the liberty to interact with another role player out of character (OOC) and helps you look for new role playing partners to role play certain storylines with.
Q: What’s its difference from a multi-muse ?
The difference between a multi-muse and a 1x1 account is the way it is seen by other role players. Multi-muse accounts are actively played one one account, where as a 1x1 account would either
Make a side blog for the character.
Make a new and separate account.
[ ADVICE ]
If you are considering making a new role play account for all the ideas for muses you may have, I would suggest you make a 1x1 account. That way you can seek out other role players who might be interested in either developing or role playing a certain plot and/or certain face claim with you.
