09: Something that frightens your character
The idea of failing. More specifically, Lenora is terrified that she’ll be unable to make it on her own, be it in her lifestyle or her career, after all of the hard work she put in to being able to cut off ties with her family. Beyond that, she’s afraid that she’ll end up falling flat and then word will get back to her parents. She can just imagine the level of smugness that would give them.
🙃
🙃- For a lighter, slightly embarrassing secret
For the first year and a half that Lucy was at Hogwarts, Peeves had her convinced that Ravenclaw had two ghosts: the Grey Lady, and him. She was dumb and gullible and eleven so she didn’t think about how he wasn’t even a ghost. After she finally found out that he’d bamboozled her, she actively avoided him for the rest of her education.

How does your muse feact/feel whenthey see their family (specify if desired)
Lenora hasn’t seen hide nor hair of her sisters since she left their family years ago, up until she ran into Ivy during the whole dark mark incident. That left her bitter, knowing that Ivy’s current state (married to someone of their parents’ choosing, existing solely to be a trophy wife and bear stupid children) is exactly where she would have wound up otherwise. There’s also some misplaced anger. Lenora knows how hard it was for her to get out from under their family’s thumb, but she still did it. Ivy is smart, so Lenora had expected her to follow suit rather than be so complacent. Then of course, there’s all of Lenora’s guilt. If she hadn’t left when she did, maybe she could have helped Ivy. But there isn’t anything she can do about the past now.
With Elara, when/if Lenora sees her again, there’ll still be guilt, but of a different sort. She knows that Elara is way more sensitive than she could have ever been, and even though she’s nineteen now, she’s still a little kid in Lenora’s mind. It makes Lenora more sad than angry to know that Elara is still in their parents’ world. Really though, given Elara’s nature and the fact that she had both Ivy as an example and Lenora as a warning before her, she can’t have expected her baby sister to have done much else. Lenora isn’t sure how she’ll react when she sees her again, but she can hope that she’s able to reel in the anger and scathing remarks that are her go-to responses under stress. She doesn’t know if she could stand to hurt Elara like that.
😰
How does your muse react/ feel when they’re scolded?
Nico is very sensitive to criticism of any sort. In the moment he can keep cool and nod along if it’s something justified or ignore it if someone is just being mean. The words stick with him, and while he tries to ignore it they always put a damper on the rest of his day.
