Oh man, you don’t even know how invested I am in this show already. I have two Nick/Monroe fics that just need to be edited. Monroe/Rosalee is so cute and I can’t wait to write for them too. But for right now I am super digging Monroe and Nick together because holy damn- HOLY DAMN. It is all there blutbad and grimm- Monroe being Monroe, Nick running around like a fledgling baby donkey on speed and Monroe grudgingly tolerating it until he is totally invested and is like- I don’t care if I get beat up, you come to me whenever. Lets have a beer. LIKE- liiiiiiiiikeee?!?!

12 episodes ago Monroe exploded out his window and slammed Nick into a wall and then laughed because he was like- are you stupid? Wait. You are stupid. Well, come in and have a beer I guess? Stop manhandling me. You are like a walking nightmare but apparently someone has to give you ‘the talk’ before you get killed. Monroe is what the meme of- I will follow you to the ends of the earth with only mild complaining was made for essentially.

The Rowdy 3 have sucked too much energy from Dirk Gently. Crap! Drummer girl will be so mad if they accidentally kill the nerdy British guy!

dude i like realize all the time that i repressed all that shit we dealt with all summer and its coming back and everytime im excited for s2 its like neon lights in my head like FEAR

RIGHT? I don’t mind braving the tag for you and sending you and tagging you in stuff I know you’ll like if it gets bad. hopefully it won’t and I’m just jumping the gun but seeing a few things to this effect freaked me out and reminded me of how infuriating it could be at times. it was appalling how many people never said a word about the emotional turmoil jesse put tulip through or about how jesse just...left...cassidy’s burned up body outside...but then they turned around and got mad at Tulip for feeding Cassidy a dog so he wouldn’t fucking die. at least we know the actors and writers and showrunners understand their characters very well. it’s much worse when you’re getting flak from both sides but in this case we’re limited to a small, if obnoxious, number of people.

oh god. I may have to stay away from all posts Preacher just for the sake of my sanity. I love Cassidy. I find Jesse pretty 'meh' personally (let's be honest, he is a bit of a dick) and I adore Tulip. She (and Ruth Negga) deserve so much better than fandom gives them. Ugh.

hmmm...if we count crackships probably sharol. or even carick.

Rosita and Tara is pretty popular, but i don’t really feel that one.

8. Your oldest ship; the one you’ve shipped for the longest time?

in the walking dead it’s caryl and gleggie. outside of this fandom it is remus and tonks in harry potter.

14. Is there a ship you feel gets undeserved hate in fandom?

lol well caryl gets a lot of hate. i get that you dislike something because of bad experiences with shippers ( i have several carylers blocked myself), but some of the stuff i read is just outrageous and ugly.

19. Is there a ship the fandom has ruined for you?

hmm, i don’t feel rick and michonne like i used to anymore. but that happens a lot with me in fandom with ships that aren’t my ride or die. they are an incredible important couple, not just for our fandom, and they are so badass together. i just don’t have the connection to them anymore like i used to.

27. Name a ship that deserved better in the end.

maggie and glenn. lori and rick. michonne and andrea. denise and tara. sasha and abe (i’m not a huge shipper,  but what they pulled here was ugly.). beth and noah. 

black, that always changes tbh at the moment lana del rey, vincent van gogh, jake gyllenhaal, jane austen, hmm nobody in particular but i really like e.e. cummings 

Robespierre bc he was so Wild? like he was the definition of Wild have you seen his hair? his role in the Reign of Terror is constantly being reappraised by historians but let it be known, he was Wild and one of the best examples of self-perceived “incorruptibility” making a monster of a man. 

WW2 just bc it was so pivotal in so many ways, for good or for ill

Vietnam War for pretty much the same reason and the way its effects ripple through the US social consciousness today in a way we should all pay attention too
