1. Figuring out how to shape this shield was a pain in the butt. Let me tell you!! I finally found a platter at the house that was big enough to mold my hot platsic over. I would have preferred a more bubble shape instead of just a raised edge, but it's the only thing I had and the outcome looks ok. I then spray painted it with pink tint paint for a translucent look 2. After I got the shield shapped I covered the entire thing in clear resin with glitter to match the sword. 3. The brand of tint spray paint I used for the pink didn't offer a mint green. So I improvised and glued mint green faux flower leaves all around the edge. And I think this addition looked even better than my original plan. 4. Final topical details. Rose vine made out of thibra then painted and glued to the top of the shield. Thorns made from craft foam. Faux roses glued around the vine with the largest one in the center of the shield. Lastly pearls were hot glued in various clumps around the roses and vines. ____ Stevonnie progress. The task was simple. Scour the city for anyone that looked relatively worthy of indoctrination into Shredder’s troops. Deciding to take the risk and leap to the skies with the help of his jet pack, he looked over every building and street lamp in Manhattan, and finally discovered something worthwhile - a female tiger, bipedal like himself, and a giant spider-mutant. Hovering nearby, he kept silent and still, observing how the two dealt with one another. The stronger would be approached.
