So you've probably seen the #gemfallau tag in most of my Steven Universe art lately. Gemfall takes place during Future and is a side story of Star Sapphire's past (her telling it to Steven.) Both her and Purple Obsidian were found bubbled and still corrupted in Garnet's room, they'd been missed, and Purple of course immediately decides she hates Steven once they're healed. Star, on the other hand, wants to live in the temple, mostly because she trained Pearl to fight during the rebellion and wants to catch up with her old friends. She sort of grows on Steven, and they begin to spend time together (under the condition that Steven shrinks so he's shorter than her) and she tells him stories about the gems.
