Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Red food coloring. Green fondant.
Instructions: Mix the cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and flour together in a bowl using a whisk. Mix the butter and sugar in a different bowl until they are light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until a dough forms. Split the dough in half. To make one half red, add food coloring until you get the color you want. Put the dough in the fridge for at least an hour after cutting it in half. Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Make a ball out of a small amount of red dough. Make it a petal shape by flattening it a bit. Do this again and again to make more red petals. Make a ball out of a small amount of plain dough. Make it flat, and then put a red flower petal in the middle. Form a ball with the plain dough and wrap it around the red petal. Make a rosebud shape with the dough that has been mixed. Put the rosebud cookies on the baking sheet that has been ready, and bake them for 10 to 12 minutes. For a few minutes, let the cookies cool on the baking sheet. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut out small leaf shapes from green fondant that you've rolled out. After the cookies are completely cool, put a fondant leaf on each one very gently. Now it's time to enjoy your cake pop rose cookies!
