What about the roosters? Half of chicks that are born are male. Just a few minutes on CL (swipe left) will show you how desperately rooster rescues are needed and how irresponsible people are by hatching (or buying) more chicks. There are NOT homes for all the unwanted roosters because they will never lay eggs and are seen of no ‘use’. Rescues and sanctuaries are constantly turning people away that want to dump roosters.
