Egypt today.

For most of the match, Egypt looked organised, disciplined.

Then Argentina found a goal..... and suddenly it felt like I was watching a completely different match from the commentators.

Apparently Argentina had been "dominating all game."

Were we... watching the same 90 minutes, dude? 😭

And here's my football confession.

I know Messi is one of the greatest players ever.

I don't question his talent.

He just isn't my favourite player to watch.

I can't even explain why.

Football isn't always logical.

Sometimes a player simply doesn't click with you, while another one makes you jump off the sofa because of a single brilliant pass.

(Yes, I'm still thinking about Keito Nakamura somehow keeping that ball in play against Tunisia. I still don't understand how he did that)

So no...

This isn't anti-Messi propaganda.

It's just me once again cheering for the team that almost pulled off something incredible.
