He's gotten proficient in medicae out of necessity. Leto doesn't like seeing random medical officers because of his mutations as the result of being Voidborn — most of them he's able to hide on a daily basis — so he learned how to treat his own (minor) wounds wherever possible. Even as Rogue Trader, he would rather trust Abelard to tend to his wounds instead of a random medicae officer unless it's severe enough.

Leto enjoys dancing. His family had enough status that the van Mynaards were present at high society functions and the like and much to Leto's surprise he actually enjoyed it. He was fairly popular with the young high society crowd (particularly after the Apex of Brilliance triumph) and his duelist training translated extremely well into dancing, so it often meant his dance card was full.

He doesn't do it as much as Rogue Trader anymore, but he always saves one away from the prying eyes of Dargonus' aristocracy for Cassia, if she wants it.

Thanks for the ask @ronqueesha! From Soft OTP Prompts Been staring at this one off and on since last night. I think I'm finally happy with it, and clocked in at ~360 words. 😅

V scowls at her reflection in the full-length mirror. The shirt collar is too tight; the arms are just a shade too long while the pants are too short, and make her look even taller and her hips wider.

“How’s it going in there?” Rosalind’s voice heralds her arrival from the bedroom, and she glances up in the mirror to find her leaning against the door, arms crossed, a smile spreading across her face as she looks V up and down. “You look fantastic. How do you feel?”

“Like I’m being strangled, and haven’t even put on the tie yet.”

Rosalind approaches, sliding her hands around her waist and pulling tight against her, face nestled on V’s shoulder.

“You don’t have to go, you know. It’s just a state dinner.”

“I know,” she says, her eyes dropping to the tie dangling between her fingers.

“Would you like some assistance with that?”

Scoffing, she shakes then nods her head with a small grin. “Yeah, guess so.”

Rosalind spins her around by her hips and turns up her collar. She takes the tie from V and loops it over her head, pulling each side back and forth along the collar until she’s satisfied, then she begins wrapping the fabric over itself, back and forth, building up a knot. While she works, Rosalind describes the entire process but V is too distracted by the beauty of her face to pay attention to her words—the fine cheekbones, the spray of freckles, the perfect cupid’s bow mouth that smirks as she catches V watching.

She blushes as Rosalind arches a perfect eyebrow. “What?”

“Nothin’. Just you’re beautiful.”

One corner of her mouth turns up and she glances up at V again. “You weren’t listening, were you? Never mind. A lesson for another day.” 

She draws the tie close to V’s neck and turns down the collar, then helps her into the jacket and straightens the tie and lapels. She gestures her head at the mirror, and V turns around.

“You’re extremely dashing yourself.” She blushes but Rosalind’s right—the suit and tie do look good on her. “Now, shall we?”

“After you, Madam President.”

Kanan McCarthy is their full name. First name is taken from Kanan Jarrus from Star Wars: Rebels, and the last name is taken from one of my favorite authors, the late Cormac McCarthy.

I wish Starfield gave you better descriptions about some of the traits before you start, because if I had known what I know now about Kanan and the Freestar Collective, I woulda given them the Freestar Settler trait.

Kanan is followed around by the Adoring Fan for lulz. I have yet to get him a name (he deserves one).

I went into Starfield wanting to make a sort of Han Solo coded character, hence I went with Space Scoundrel as their background.

I picked the Wanted trait for them because I figured that Bethesda games are easy enough, I might as well have a bit more of a challenge. It worked out with the Space Scoundrel background and I've worked that into their whole thing they've got going on.

Kanan has two siblings who are also named after Star Wars characters. Owen, an older brother, named after Luke's uncle, and Senya, their twin sister, named after Senya Tirall from SWTOR

I am begging Bethesda to let me change the colors of outfits because red is Kanan's signature color and I want a red poncho.

Kanan originally started out with blonde hair, but because this game is admittedly really fuckin bad with hair sometimes (particularly with beards) I decided to change it to black.

I've considered making it so Kanan was apart of the First militia during the Colony War. Haven't decided yet. I need to do some more digging in wikis first.

On that note, the Freestar Ranger questline may as well be a Kanan questline. I won't go into all the details considering I plan on writing out a full Starfield fanfic, but the latter parts of that questline really struck a cord with them in regards to their past. (I like to think that the unique razorback they receive when they join the Rangers used to belong to their father.)

You know how people would lie about their age in order to get into the military and fight in some conflict? Yeah, that's Kanan. They told everyone they were eighteen in order to join the Colony War and instead they were around fifteen to sixteen. Yeah, they saw some stuff they really probably shouldn't have.

Kanan has a very, very bad habit of having frequent one night stands.

My voice claim for Kanan is Ben Schneider, the singer of the band Lord Huron.

Their theme song is The Man in Red by Trocadero. (You have no idea how long I've waited to make that song a theme song for once of my ocs. It's such a cool song.)

For Emet and Azem, initially, it was Azem. They had a fearlessness to their affection which was a large part of what drew Emet to them. As the relationship progressed, however, Emet matched or even surpassed their passion, in the quiet, private moments where they could unmask and be truly themselves, hours where he was not the Esteemed Emet-Selch, but Hades.

15. Who wakes up first?

You would think X'rhun, because it's almost inevitable that he'll rise with the dawn and earn a growl from I'lyrha over the disturbance. But in fact, she wakes up before him most mornings. She just likes to lay there and enjoy cuddling the warm covers for as long as she can

A doomguy dating simulator would start after all the demons are dead. Doomguy wants to start up a rabbit ranch and live a peaceful life surrounded by pet bunnies. you have to help him grow his business and grow his heart

5. Your SS’s worst habit?

It depends on the day. One that’s consistently a problem is her tendency to doubt herself, to second guess everything she thinks. There’s a hundred things she’s never done simply because she keeps going back to those lingering doubts in her head. 

7. What is your SS’s opinion on body modifications?

Largely neutral, tending towards positive. Most of what she sees is stuff like tattoos, and she’s seen some cool ones. She’s sure as hell not going to tell other people what they can or can’t do, and before the war she occasionally contemplated one, but she’s a self described weenie and never followed through.
