things that are romanticised in my mind:
- reading poetry, both old and new. reading the delicate thoughts of the ancient and the youth.
- drinking tea and coffee. served both cold and hot, a warm hug on a rainy day, getting lost in your thoughts.
- sitting outside. the sun soaking into your pores, the lazy, productivity you feel when you sit outside.
- day trips alone. being alone with yourself is something many despise but there is something so intimate in taking time to process life. museum and art galleries, book cafes, thrift shopping.
- picnics. lazy days spent with another in the sun, eating and eating and eating, the hours passing in minutes yet still feeling eternal.
- rainy days. curled up on the couch, the rain soft against the windows, a novel and hot food or drink on hand. watching so many movies and bingeing tv shows until you feel transported into another realm.
- learning a new language. dead languages and vibrant ones, the sound of foreign words against familiar lips.
- waking up with the sun. filtering through light curtains, taking a moment of just appreciating life, fuzzy thoughts turning into clarity, feeling well rested.

I have a confession to make, I'm half way through watching GoT and I'm dreading the last seasons.
Not because 'the ending is bad' etc I know the spoilers and I'm not that bother by most of them, but because I really dislike the idea of Jon x Daenerys.
Aren't they Aunt and Nephew? I know GoT has inc3stuous relationships depicted but from the clips I've seen it seems rather romanticised (at least for GoT).
