In this universe, Rodimus and Bumblebee used to date when Rodimus was Hot Rod. Rodimus does not know that Skyfire is the sire and I can't wait to draw him freaking out.

While Rodimus and Bumblebee attend to their blind date, in another side of the galaxy, Cain and Akira share their first date together

Bumblebee: crawls into Rodimus’s lap while he’s trying to review mission reports

Rodimus: “Bee, I can’t focus like this.”

Bumblebee, already wrapped around him like a baby koala: “Just let me rest my face here for two minutes. Maybe three. Maybe the rest of the night. Forever’s an option.”

Rodimus: sighs but secretly melts

Bumblebee five minutes later: “…do you think I’m too clingy?”

Rodimus: “Yes.”

Bumblebee, offended: “How dare you. I’m delicately affectionate.”

With Mirage:

Bumblebee: gets called “sayang” in front of everyone

Bumblebee: audibly short-circuits

Mirage: “You’re blushing. You like it.”

Bumblebee: hiding face with his hoodie sleeves “N-no I don’t. That was gross. Ew. whispers do it again.”

Also Bumblebee when Mirage disappears for 2 minutes: “Where’s my boyfriend. I need to lean on him like a sad cat.”

With Blurr:

Blurr: “You left your snack on the table.”

Bumblebee: “I left it there so you could feed me like a baby bird.”

Blurr: “That’s horrifying.”

Bumblebee: “Romantic.”

Blurr: “You’re lucky you’re cute.”

Later, Bee tries to surprise Blurr with a lunchbox he packed himself. It’s just four slices of cheese and a love note that says “Don’t crash today, okay?” with a smiley face.

With Jazz:

Jazz: “Babe, I’m going out for a quick recon—”

Bumblebee: clinging to his back like a backpack “Okay. I’ll come.”

Jazz: “You can’t. It’s dangerous.”

Bumblebee: fake crying instantly “You don’t love me.”

Jazz: “Bee. You were just clinging to my ankle ten minutes ago saying ‘carry me like a sack of rice’—”

Bumblebee: “And you did, because I’m cute.”

Jazz: “…can’t argue.”

With Cliffjumper (BFF-turned-romantic):

Bumblebee: pokes Cliff’s cheek while he’s talking to someone else

Cliffjumper: “Bee. I’m trying to work.”

Bumblebee: innocently “Just checking if it’s still squishy. For science.”

Cliffjumper: “That’s not science.”

Bumblebee: seriously “You wouldn’t understand. You’re not squishy enough to do the research.”

Cliffjumper later gives in and lets Bee use his arm as a pillow like a human plush toy.

With Smokescreen:

Bumblebee: writes “kiss me or perish” in sparkly marker on Smoke’s datapad

Smokescreen: kisses him instantly

Bumblebee: “…Wait I wasn’t ready—”

Smokescreen: “You literally threatened me with death.”

Bumblebee: “I didn’t think you’d ACT on it. Rude.”

Also Bee: spends the next hour hiding in a blanket cocoon, occasionally poking his head out to demand head pats

“Okay. No more clingy behavior. Be cool. Be mysterious. Be hard to get.”

five minutes later

Bee, texting 20 times in a row: “do u still love me”

“r u dead”

“i miss u”

“sorry that was too intense i’m fine. unless ur ignoring me. then i’m dying actually.”

Hot Rod has just gotten to Earth, and needs a tour. Bumblebee is happy to oblige.

Bumblebee falls sick with a virus. Hot Rod takes care of him.

Bumblebee, laughing: I CAN'T EITHER!

Rodimus: I CAN'T FRAGGING DO IT ANYMORE!

Bee: WELL, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT, YOU CAN EITHER GIVE UP NOW, OR YOU CAN FIGURE IT OUT! BECAUSE WE CERTAINLY CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU, AND WE KNOW YOU CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT US!

Rodimus: I appreciate it...

Rodimus: BUT LOOK WHAT WE'RE DEALING WITH!

Bee: Roddy! We gotta-

Rodimus: YOU GOTTA DRAW THE LINE SOMEWHERE! YOU GOTTA DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND! YOU GOTTA MAKE A STATEMENT!

Rodimus: YOU GOTTA LOOK INSIDE YOURSELF AND SAY 'What am I willing to put up with today?'
