“Mngh. You again.”

The old man huffed, a cloud of smoke trailing from his sickly lips. His worn old eyes of a pale, icy blue hue clung with a judging gaze at the arrival at his accounting room door. The cigarette in hand now put out in a dish he left at the corner of his work filled desk.

He felt no pity to the child standing before him. They may have been fully grown, but to him.. they were nothing more than a toddler. A toddler with a beard and poorly groomed hair and a sense of fashion that even the local thrift wouldn’t accept. The thought of that alone made the corners of his dry lips twitch. Unfortunately all that he gave was nothing more than a solid frown.

Hayate peered around a hall corner, eying the training room at the end of it intently. He watched the doors swing open and closed as grunts came and went. A few of which who took notice of the masked grunt watching from a distance and walked away quickly, unnerved by the staring.

He was curious about the room, and one could even say he was perhaps a little bit afraid of it. However, when a particularly big rocket came booming down the hall with laughter and a small following of other grunts, his curiosity overrode that presumed “fear“ he had for the room.

Defeat: “Grr, I should have known his Pokemon would be as tough as his abs!”

Assist: “Now isn’t the time to be distracted, hang in there!”

Taunt: “Hey Balor~ After I kick your butt, you want me to kiss it all better?” 

Reacting to Taunt: “Words are cheap Balor, show me what you got!”

Tie: “Woah, that was intense! I didn’t see that coming!”

  " Mm. ”

“ Big muscles, rough shave, and a sneer that looks like ya pro’lly went and killed somethin’ with those meaty hands a’ yours. You’re right up my alley. ”

“ ... ”

    “ ‘S too bad ya ain’ runnin’ on my team though, boy. ”
