I’ve been asked for a mini-review of this @british_retro dress so here goes: I wear a size 10 (I’m 5’9”) and although the material is quite thick there is still a lot of give in it so if you’re an in between size I’d say go down rather than up. It’s a stretch crepe that hugs your curves but is such good quality that it avoids showing any lumps or bumps- I personally hate seeing a very obvious bra band at the back and that definitely doesn’t happen with this dress. There is a ‘hidden’ zip at the back, which is great except that it splits the collar in half at the back and I would rather it was one whole. The only other downside would be that it requires dry cleaning... but I’m assuming that’s just to save the fur so I’ve been hand-washing any problem areas in the sink! It’s such a lovely dress to wear and quite a confidence booster. It’s currently on sale so if it takes your fancy I’d say go right ahead!
