They had an interesting dynamics where Jean doubted his leadership, but eventually accepted it only to learn that Levi doesn't pretend to be all knowing. I think Jean has immense respect for Levi since then. Their interaction before Jean took Marlo and Hitch away to the forest was interesting and showed mutual understanding and Levi understood him without words there hence why he let Jean lead Marlo and Hitch away instead of Sasha.

Jean was portrayed shocked when Floch said Levi and Hange were defeated by Zeke.

He was also portrayed visibly worried about Levi this latest chapter along with Hange and Armin.

Like I said, I didn’t follow the 30 Days basis, but I’m kinda proud of myself to be able to draw this many stuff...especially when they are not entirely about what I usually draw. Despite not getting many notes, I’m still glad I can at least contribute one thing to the SnK pairings that I love but had never spoken of before.

Day 12: As Children Pairing: RivaJean (Levi x Jean)

Okay. This pairing is a bit tricky because I’m aware half of the fandom is not in terms with the popular veterans shipped with the popular 104th trainees....mainly because of the obvious age gap. Which makes it slightly nervous for me to admit that I love looking at Levi and Jean together.

I came across this pairing when one of my favourite erunile fanartist made a fanbook or two about erunile with a side of rivajean. Even so, my idea for their relationship is that they are foster brothers (again, influenced by another erunile fanbook where Erwin and Nile are married and their adopted children are Levi and Jean) first and foremost, before they are a romantic couple.
