Dorm Decor w/ Julia (Painting '17)
Before move-out, RFB asked a few foundations students to for a tour of their room. Julia's room seemed like the perfect room to feature on the blog!
Before entering, Julia described her space as "cozy." RFB agrees 300%. --Check out the rug and throw.
Organization 10/10!!!
RFB loves how Julia keeps everything out, yet somehow manages to make everything look organized.
"I knew I was going to live in a single. Mostly because I'm really messy...but, it's good to have a roommate because living in a single can become a little isolating sometimes."
"I'm going to live in a co-op during the summer. So, it's multiple rooms within one house. It's the ideal situation for me." Trying different kinds of housing, like Julia is doing, might be something for the rest of us to try out throughout RISD.
"[The pieces around the room] are mostly stuff that some of my friends from RISD and some of my friends from high school made and things I found."
"My overall favorite piece in my room is this this postcard. It's the Wedge of Chastity by Marcel Duchamp. Both because it's my favorite sculpture and because a favorite friend of mine sent it to me. I love having it on the wall."
