I am sharing an older post from the archive of my blog today—something I originally published in 2021, which remains relevant.

I've been thinking a lot about being in Right Relationship to money, and how far I've come in my commitment to anti-capitalism and centring community before I ever look at costs. So much of what I am able to do, like publishing From the QILT2BAG+ and paying other living artists and writers for their labour, is made possible because of my support network and community. Connecting with other folks who are transparent about money, and willing to have difficult conversations about how we feel about it, is essential.

Four Visions Tribe

She is not just the ground beneath our feet… she is the Mother of all life. 🌿 The Earth is not a resource to be extracted—

She is a living, breathing Being.

A sacred Mother who holds us, feeds us, and sings us into existence with every sunrise and blooming flower. She offers us medicine in the plants,

wisdom in the waters,

and memory in the stones. But we have forgotten how to listen.

And now, she calls to us—not in anger,

but in longing.

A longing for right relationship, for reciprocity,

for the return of her children to the sacred. To walk with the Earth is not just to preserve her—

It is to regenerate.

To plant where we have taken.

To remember where we have lost.

To give back in gratitude, ceremony, and action. Let us become stewards again.

Seed-sowers.

Water-bearers.

Keepers of the flame of ancient knowing. May our lives be offerings.

May our choices nourish the soil.

May our children inherit not scarcity,

but abundance blooming from sacred responsibility. 🌿 This is not just sustainability.

This is remembrance.

This is regeneration.

This is the way forward—
