Few traditions capture the wild, free spirit of Stanford quite like fountain hopping—the beloved (and technically forbidden) ritual of jumping into as many campus fountains as possible in one night. 🌙

From the iconic Claw Fountain to the Oval’s reflecting pools, students have been soaking themselves in the name of tradition for decades. It’s a rite of passage: equal parts rebellion, camaraderie, and sheer chaotic joy. 🤝

Some do it on a whim. Others plan elaborate routes, racing across the sprawling 8,180-acre campus in the dead of night, dripping from fountain to fountain like soggy, laughing legends. 😂💦

It’s the kind of memory that sticks with you long after graduation—not the lectures, not the problem sets, but the night you and your friends were absolutely drenched under the California stars on one of the most prestigious campuses in the world. 🌟

Because at Stanford, even the rebels have a GPA to protect … but some nights, the fountains just call to you. 🐦
