The RAF’s new Beechcraft T-6 Texan II, on static at RIAT 2017. In the nose cone you can also see the RAF’s new Phenom aircraft. Both are set to take over flight training duties from the current Tucano and King Air aircraft I believe.

Armée de L’Air Rafale, turning, burning, and making clouds at the Air Tattoo!  I loved the colours she was wearing this year, really brightened up the dull cloudy sky towards the end of Saturday.

Code-named “Gunship”, the Apache put on a very dramatic display, unfortunately I just wasn’t in the right spot to get a good shot of the pyrotechnics it had going on!

Possibly the highlight of RIAT 17 the Ukrainians bringing their SU-27! If anyone was listening to their scanners while they were on approach you’ll get it when I say they don’t play by the rules!
